Ten times better than a GHD
I love this straightener. I have curly, frizzy hair that is hard to maintain. I have had three GHD's, the most recent purchased last year. It made my hair feel terrible and I always had to re-straighten half an hour after straightening - and even after that it wouldn't last the night. This hair straightener is amazing
I am SO impressed with my GlamPalm. I have very fine, frizzy curly hair and I am amazed with how easy it is to straighten my hair. LOVE the fact I do not need to use heat protector beforehand. I don't know why but since using the hair straightener my hair is looking a lot healthier and always has an amazing shine and it is so soft and smooth. to date, the service was perfect and super fast delivery. Ordered on Saturday in Aus and delivered to me in NZ on Tuesday that's faster then a service within my own country . I highly recommend for first time buyers I only wish these were around earlier I would have saved myself some cash the price and the results it gives it's hard to believe these sell for this much I have an issue with warranties and would have liked for these to be covered for a longer period it's always hard to know when you buy a new product and there isnt many reviews to say how long they actually last, I believe top dollar should pay for a good qaulity product and if they say they are as good as they are the warranty should be for 4-5yrs atleast I1 comment

Life changing!
I was hesitant to try the glampalm. I found little info online other than glowing reviews. But my old GHD was in need of replacing. Decided to bite the bullet and give this a go.
Holy Moley. So glad that I did.
My hair is super thick, long, and curly. Using my GHD would take about an hour and a half to straighten. With the GlamPalm, I was done in 25 minutes. It's amazing.
It doesn't seem to catch on my hair the way the GHD did. It glides through smoothly. I ordered from the glampalm Australia website and received my straightener in 2 days.

Great Product - has not damaged my hair
I just bought this a month ago after doing a load of research and saying goodbye to my faithful Muster which lasted me over 10 years. This straightener is easy to use on my thick, coarse wavy/curly hair and does not damage it. It has a heat setting that doesn't overheat (very common amongst the new breed of straighteners) and heats up in seconds. I cannot fault this product. Far better than a GHD I borrowed from a friend when my old straightener died.
Reliable, easy to use, does not damage hair.

Best hair straightener I have used.
Like others, I was disillusioned with the new GHD which was no better than cheaper models like Vidal Sassoon and Remington. After online reviews I decided that the glampalm would be my next hair iron. Boy am I glad I did. This is the best straightener I have ever used. I have long, thick, course, wavy and hard to manage hair, but the glampalm 501 with its wide plates tamed my hair in ten minutes. Best result I have ever been able to achieve without a hairdresser. Well worth the price. Great product.
Nice wide plates, heats up quickly, variable heat settings, great presentation in box and clutch.

I purchased this straightener after returning a brand new GHD that's performance was so disappointing. They are nothing like my original bought 8 yrs ago. So GlamPalm was bought after much research. Better than GHD
After reading really positive reviews and hearing that Ghd's are now made in china and are not as good. I actually sold a new ghd and took the plunge. Glad i did hair has no frizz and flat as with no serum used and still looks shiny! Makes it easy with the clips included!
Easy to use. Not overpriced. Good result

I love this straightener, it's super reliable, doesn't really burn your hair, it makes it smooth and shiny. I use it mostly to curl my hair which is thin and super fine & straight and GP201 works perfectly.
If your hair is like mine, only use GP201. I tried GP313 and GP501 but the curls never hold. GP313 is mostly used for straightening and GP501 is great if you have a super thick and long hair.

ntly, give me advice, and turns out I need to exchange it to GP201. They delivered (that's correct, delivered) the new GP201 to my office/house without any charge. I understand that this might not be the case for everyone but what I am trying to say is that they care about their customers and they are more than willing to help! Hope the review helps! It heats up super quick, it's not as drying as the other straightener (the ones that I have used is Babyliss and GHD). Keeps your hair healthy as well :) Only get GP201 for thin fine straight hair if you want to use it for curls. GP313 and 501 do not work for curls for this type of hair.Similar opinion? GlamPalm saved my hair! (and life)
I just received my brand new GlamPalm GP313 in the mail this afternoon and it is ALL and MORE than I could ever have imagined! Before the GlamPalm I was using a GHD, I thought the GHD was the best and that you probably wouldn't get any better than that, I have also tried the Cloud 9, that was good also, however, GlamPalm just blew the GHD and Cloud 9 right out of this world!!!! (Literally) I have had 3 GHD's in the past 2 years, 2 of the GHD's stopped working and the other GHD stopped heating. Since using the GlamPalm for the first time, my hair is already silkier, smoother, lighter and looks a millions times more healthier! I could not be happier. I 110% recommend the GlamPalm to each and everybody!!!!! IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

buy the most 'known' etc and then I try to find authentic customer/user reviews... I have never been into straightening my loose waves much because I've found straightening made my hair look less healthier and straight hair wouldn't last the night unless I actually spent a lot of time on it. I found an article comparing Cloud9, Glam Palms and GHDs from a experienced user who seemed to know her stuff. She raves about Glampalms a lot and gave detailed reasons including specifications and user feedback why she rates she so highly. This review alone sold me 60% so I checked out user reviews all over the internet. It was hard not to choose the brand that everyone knows (especially because prior to my online research I recently asked an older hairdresser who also told me GHDs are the best out there, though I doubt she ever heard of glampalms). At the end, it came down to the fact that I'd used different models of GHDs before and was never amazed with the result and feared for the condition of my hair due to the fact there was no option to go lower in heat - hair smelled bad/burnt and always had to use product to control frizz after :( I seen on Facebook that GlamPalm went the extra mile for customers (when one unsatisfied customer purchased the wrong model for her hair type they assisted her to get the right model, then she was satisfied). Have used Glampalm for 2 weeks on my Medium to long hair, hairdressers say my hair strands are fine ish but I have A LOT of hair which lead me to believe I always had thick hair lol. I only have to use it for 5 mins on heat setting 150 degrees. I use Moroccan hair oil on my hair after a shower and let it dry but no heat protectant prior to straightening and no product after. Results are quick, hair is silky smooth, colour looks amazeballs and most importantly I have no frizz :) Glampalm advises you shouldn't need to put setting up too high so try lowest as needed, they also advise you shouldn't use on wet hair and I personally think this is good promoting Healthy hair rather than saying it is capable of doing things that might be bad for your hair in the long run. I should admit that I joined ieatwords just to write this because I rate the product and I think more girls need to consider the glampalm, if you've come far enough to do your research and are reading this now, take the chance and go for Glampalm!GlamPalm A.GlamPalm

GP201 - efficient and functional
I received my Glampalm as a birthday present from a few friends, so I guess I didn't have to worry about price. First off, I know everyone talks about it but the packaging is great. It comes in its own sleek black purse which will be perfect for travel. The standard setting is 150 degrees and it heats up very quickly. s well, and both are high quality. I've had mine for about a month now and no problems, must admit I've dropped it a couple of times on the tiles (oops) and not even a scratch. Best straightener! Highly recommend it!
I purchased this product over a month ago, after being a GHD user for over 5 years. I had heard many reviews from friends who had purchased the GlamPalm GP201 and decided it was time for an upgrade.
To be honest, I did have my doubts but after first use I noticed how amazing the GlamPalm was! My hair felt and looked smoother than it had previously, it gives such a natural straightened look and your hair really does feel healthier! The packaging is very glamorous, it comes with a carry case and it's the perfect size, still compact, but does everything you need a straightener to do (even curl)!
Pricing is very reasonable, and the GlamPalm is definitely worth every penny!

I was looking for a new hair straightener as I've had my GHD for quite a long time. Was recommended to try glam palm by a number of people all who had positive experiences with it. The packaging was professional and nice, the straightener is really easy to use with adjustable heat options & heats up really quickly, you can also curl & style your hair with it and it leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth, doesn't dry it out the way that a GHD does. The service was excellent, it was delivered to me at my work the day after I sent the payment. Definitely a worthy investment and much better than a GHD!

I always thought GHD was one of the good ones since you've seen them in most Salons. But, GlamPalm has definitely changed my opinion on that.
