Great Investment
We bought the Grotime Rollover Cot and Tallboy because it was all beds in one and looks great!. The quality is fantastic and we have loved it. The major benefit is we didn't have to sell everything and go shopping when it was time to go into a single bed. Both the retailer and manufacturer have been very helpful and great to deal with.
Very good quality and looks great. It's the whole package in one, we brought the bed and drawers in one place and the only thing we needed to buy was a single mattress.

Fantastic cot, not so when turned into single bed
Fabulous and attractive looking cot, but when it was time to convert the cot to a full size single as was advertised the mattress did not fit the bed frame. This was one of the main reasons for purchasing this cot. Contacted Grotime, they were very prompt with my enquiry and explained the reason why and will happily replace the bed rails.
Attractive looking cot and bed

Great cot
The grotime rollover cot has been a fantastic purchase. We have converted it from a cot to a day bed and cot bed as our daughter has grown and it has always been an easy conversion to make. Being able to convert to a single bed now is great as we can continue to use the same item of furniture and don't end up with a cot we don't need anymore. The grotime rollover cot looks great as well.
Sturdy, looks good, easy to convert

Love this cot!
I chose this cot because it looks great - very modern and classy, has great airflow and knew that it would be a great long term investment being the 5 in 1 rollover cot. It was easily assembled and was also easy to adjust through the different stages of newborn cot, low cot, toddler bed, day bed and now single bed as my child grows. I did have an issue when I converted the cot to single bed in that it wasnt long enough to fit a standard single size mattress. I called Grotime to discuss this and learnt that the earlier models had a shorter singl...Read more
e bed base/side rails, however as the original cots were converted, they learnt about the issue and have since made a longer bed base/side rails, which we are able to get for our existing cot. Problem solved! All the furniture that I bought for our son came from Grotime as I love that most pieces are all multi use - the change table with chest of draws becomes a tall boy once you are finished with the change table, trundle converts to a bookcase and we used the chest box for baby linen which could also be used for toys, shoes etc. I looked at a lot of baby furniture but the Grotime Rollover 5 in 1 was the only cot that ticked all my requirements and had excellent matching furniture, where I felt I was gettting good value for money, as I knew it would grow with my child and not just be suitable for the baby stage. Very happy with this product and have happily recommended to many friends. Looks great, solid construction, excellent matching furniture and grows with my child Single bed base/side rails were to short but have been amended since I purchased the product

Grotime cot
I purchased our grotime in 2011. We have watched our son grow in the cot and the bed change with him. We are now at the stage where it turns into a single bed and we'll get another 10 years or so out of it. Looking forward to watching our son grow in the bed.
The support beams were not the right length but are getting posted out to me.

Great cot and convenient that turns from bascinet, cot, junior bed and single bed
Great attractive Cot and versatile. Only issue was size of single base was too short which Grotime have offered to send new one due to bed being made 10 years ago and length of single mattresses have since changed. So far have been very happy with this Cot and it is a larger that normal in size which suited us as my daughter is quite tall.
Versatile and modern
base too small for single bed which has since changed and offered a new one

Happy with our choice - twice!
We loved the Grotime Rollover cot we bought when we had our first son so much we bought another one when we had our second child! They've both withstood the tests our very active kids have thrown at them and continue to be sturdy, function smoothly and look great. We were rather puzzled when we recently converted our eldest's to the single bed and our new mattress was too long. Grotime customer service quickly shed light on this attributing it to a change in the National standard mattress size about the time we bought our cot. They offered us a quick no fuss resolution to the problem.
Sturdy, functional, attractive, good customer service
Our 2010 model was too short for our 2014 mattress

Great Cot, Good Durable material and easy to assemble!!!
We bought a Grotime Rollover cot in 2011 for our first child and we have had a really good experience, easy to setup, excellent finish and very good durable material. The only issue that we found is that now we want to convert into a single bed and the current australian standard mattress single size doesn't fit. I have contacted Grotime customer support and I got a immediate response that they will be sending the bed trails to fit the single size mattress. What a great customer care support!!!

Didn't fit the australian standard single bed size mattress, but Grotime customer care is responding to this matter.

Great cot... love it!
We have been so happy with our Grotime 5-in-1Rollover cot that we purchased in 2010. It's such a quality product and have happily recommended it to friends having a baby.
We are in the process of turning it into the full size single bed for our little boy but as it was purchased in 2010 and the Australia standard mattress size was increased by 4 cms in 2010, the original bed rails that came with the cot are now a few centimeters too short. I contacted Grotime and they have been extremely helpful in recitfying the issue and are sending out ne...Read more

Changing with the times
The Rollover Cot's key selling feature is that it converts from an infant cot through to a full size single bed. We purchased ours in mid 2010. We have loved this cot through its first three phases (bassinett height, toddler height, toddler bed). It is the heaviest, most sturdy cot we have seen and we had absolute confidence in it during some rugged toddler times. We liked it so much we purchased the similar Grotime Sleepover Cot for our second child in 2012 (the Sleepover is a bit narrower and quite a bit lighter- the head boards are not as ...Read more
thick). We have however, recently (jan 2014) hit a snag changing the Rollover to a single bed. Our bed rails were not long enough to accomodate our nice expensive single Sealy matress. To make matters more confusing, my friend's version of the Rollover which she purchased a few months BEFORE me, converted to accomodate a standard single matress just fine. When assembled her bed was about 10cm longer than mine. A call to Grotime shed light on this. Apparently the National standards for the length of a standard single matress changed around 2010. Grotime changed the specs for the Rollover around 2010 to reflect the increasing size of the single. My friend has a new model Rollover, I apparently have the old model Rollover. Who received the old and new specs of the Rollover apparently depended on the stock levels of the various retailers. Bad luck for me I guess. It is dissapointing that the Retailer who sold me my cot in mid 2010 did not have the knowledge or care to reasonably predict that the product they sold that proudly said "conforms to Australian and NZ standards" would not strictly be true by the time the cot was converted to a single bed. The good news is at Grotime has a range of solutions to help the Rollover (C29) convert to a single bed. Call them for help. They are local and I have found their customer service to be responsive. very very sturdy construction. Safe. Good quality. Converting to single bed problematic in 2010 modelSimilar opinion? This cot ticks all the boxes!
We purchased this cot at the same time as my son and daughter in law did as our new granddaughter spends a lot of time in our home. We have gone from cot to day bed and now to big girls single bed - all with the same product. Only issue has been the length of the bed rails which Grotime are replacing for us. Makes a very stylish piece of furniture. We are extremely happy with the product.
Sturdy, multi use, stylish and beautifully made.
Only issue was the length if the bed rails which was caused by a standards change.

Extremely happy with this cot, would definitely purchase again
The Rollover cot has been a very functional and useful piece of nursery furniture. Reasonably priced. Easy to assemble, the slide mechanism on the side rail was both smooth and quiet. I used it from when my daughter was 4 months old and we still use it to this day, almost three years later. The change from cot to bed was so easy with this cot, no hassles at all. The larger size cot mattress meant that we weren't rushed to transition out of the cot. My in-laws loved it so much, they decided to buy one for my daughter's bedroom at their house for sleep overs! I would certainly purchase this product again.
Quiet side rail, inexpensive and clean modern design

Beautiful cot, good value!
This is a beautiful cot with a great finish (we chose walnut) and so versatile. We used this as a cot, then a toddler bed, and have recently 'rolled' it over to use it as a full size single bed. The quality and value are second to none and it will be used for many years to come. When transforming it into the single bed, we discovered that a standard single mattress is a few centimetres too long for the bed. The staff at Grotime were extremely helpful and have ensured that they will send out some longer bed rails. We highly recommend this cot a great purchase.
good value, nice finish, very durable, easy to assemble

Sturdy
We liked the sturdiness of the cot and its contemporary look. However, it took my husband some time to assemble it and we had problems with assembling the rail that slides up & down. Once as a toddler bed we had no problems . We are now awaiting a new single bed extension from the company as the one we have is the smaller size.
Sturdy and nice looking
The rail that slides down was hard to assemble. The overall time it took to assemble was long.

Recommended cot bed
I have been very impressed by the quality of the Grotime Rollover Cot Bed that I bought five years ago. Having been used as a cot and then a toddler bed for both of my boys I am now converting it to a full size single bed. Due to the change in Australian standard size for a single bed I have found the side rails originally supplied to be too short and am unable to buy a mattress of my choice that will fit. However, I have contacted customer service at Grotime who have been extremely helpful and they have agreed to supply the longer side rail...Read more

We are happy with GroTime Product since we had our Grotime 5-in-1 Rollover bed for our first son. The cot is of excellent quality and is a beautiful piece of furniture in his room. Great long-term investment
My parents purchased this cot for our son, who is now 2 years old. The cot is of excellent quality and is a beautiful piece of furniture in his room. Quite satisfied so far
We're happy with grotime product since we had our first Turin that was quickly outgrown by our son. So we bought the largest Rollover for him as well as it for long term investment with full size single bed conversion option. It cost more at the beginning as initial investments as we also got the grotime latex mattress and now we're planning to turn it as single bed so we'll see how it goes as "new bed" for our toddler.
so far we're happy with the product design and durability as cot, hopefully turn out the same as it will be as full size singl...Read more

bad first impressions last
Not sure why this product has gets great reviews. It looks sturdy enough once complete, but you will get flatpack boxes of bits and pieces to assemble and good luck with that.. So far: 1. Cot: brackets shown in manual was incorrect against what was in the box.. I inserted it one way, then had to rework it (by unscrewing things and destroying the 'head thread' shape). God help me when we make this thing a single bed. (Side note; Bet this company relies on never being able to extend the product life so you never need to road test how dodgy the si...Read more
ngle bed is) .. ALSO, the darn drop side does not work! ALSO ALSO, the finish is fine bone china.. It scratches way too easily (on walnut) - it is actaully a joke.. (NOTE: price considerations factored in, its still laughable)... 2. Cot drawer box opened - no MANUAL inside.. Went to website and cannot find this species of manual online.. SO, in short no QA at the factory and NO QA on website.. Seems like a marketing driven company to me.. trust this for my baby?. Additionally, i have so far put 3 calls into the helpdesk number on the box - not manned and no response to this point (note: granted its been an hour or so).. unimpressed nothing so far per review. bad manual, bad website, bad customer serviceSimilar opinion? Love it! Cot/Single Bed! Awesome!
As soon as I spotted a cot that converted into a single bed that was white but modern I fell in love straight away. I have two of the same grotime cots and have now got them both converted into single beds for both our boys. We have a 4 year old and a 2 1/2 year old and it was worth every dollar. What a great idea. They are very modern looking and easy to match with any sheet set or donna cover. I receive a lot of compliments as a lot of people don't think of the money they are saving as the convenience of not having to go out and purchase a single bed when your child is ready to convert from a cot. Love the style and convenience and savings.
Inexpensive, Stylish and very modern.
Extension was too short need a longer one

What is the difference between the Grotime Rollover and the Grotime Pearl?

Im not too familiar with the grotime pearl sorry guys. The grotime roll over i believe is the cot to bed but we have the caboodle which included the change table attached to cot which when it changes to bed the change table becomes two bed side tables

Rosemary Nasked
We bought this cot (with single bed conversion kit) back in 2014. It is now time for our daughter to move into the single bed option (the main reason we bought this product in the first place). We've just taken it out of storage for the first time to convert it over, BUT the timber slats DO NOT fit into the grooved slots on the bed rails. Have we missed something? Each of the pre cut slots are at least half a cm too narrow for the timber slats to fit.

Hi Rosemary,
You will need to call Sales Support, their number should be on the paperwork, otherwise google Grotine sales support(sorry I don't have their number anymore). They are really helpful and will probably send you out a new conversion kit for free.
HI Rosemary - a similar thing happened to me (slats were too long) and I contacted the Company who provided me with longer slats no charge at all.
I think the company have two sizes for the single bed and sounds like they have mixed up the order. I would ring the company and advise them of the fault and hopefully they will provide a new bed/components for free.
Hope this helps.
