Does anybody else find their socks and small items get into the filter while the machine is on and annoyingly come out covered in fluff? Its very frustrating especially as I have two young kids so lots of small items to dry.

If I set the timer for one hour is it supposed to move and stop at the off point or does it just stay on the 60 minute point and stop after 60 minutes? I'm used to the older ones where the dial moves minute by minute until the time has elapsed.
