I purchased several double packets of Harpic Active Fresh Hygienic Toilet Bowl Cleaner, it states on the packet that they last up to 1000 flushes, I've never been able to go anywhere near that number, and even before the cleaner dissolves it just falls apart and down the toilet, and non retrievable

This product may look neat when you first install it, but within a week it starts to look like that nasty bit of old soap that nobody has bothered to throw out in the shower.
I used the lavender one and it didn't stop any staining, but it did make my bathroom absolutely stink of lavender - to the point that it gave me a headache.
When it came time to replace it, I had to carry a piece of plastic connected to scraps of old soap(that had been sitting in my toilet for weeks) to the bin... ew!
I found that it completely filled my toilet with suds when I first started using it(I was worried it would overflow at first), but that did lessen over time.

Do not recommend this product...The lavender harpic new product is what I put in my toilet. The purple dye went up through the system and bubbled out the top of the toilet unit and stained the toilet system. Can't get out the puple stain - tried all sorts of products... any ideas???
