Hills Caprice
Don't bother with this
This board is heavy it is also hard and noisy to put up and this is the second one I have had after having the 1st one replaced because of the weld breaking where the legs join the board! Just lucky small kids or a pet wasn't beneath it when the weld broke.

Terrible
At the end of the day, a flat surface on an ironing board is a pretty fundamental requirement. With this ironing board, the iron makes good contact with the clothes over the high ares of the surface and not over the lower areas. I ended up returning mine to the shop and getting my money back
Large ironing surface. Adjustable height
The ironing surface isnt flat. Like the previous reviewer I found that it is bowed - higher over the supporting frame and dips in the middle

Bad
Very disappointed with this board. Considering the cost, it should be manufactured to a higher quality. The board is quite large so would not be suitable for a small space. Also, it is quite heavy to move.
Height can be adjusted for a tall person. Large ironing surface is good for trousers and tablecloths etc.
Ironing surface is not flat - it dips in the middle and is very flimsy. It is a large heavy board, and does not have castors which would make it easier to move.

Good
Who knew an ironing board really does make a difference? I thought all ironing boards were the same until mum bought this one. Now ironing is so much easier and faster to do especially with a large ironing surface. This board is also very sturdy and can be folded for storage when not in use. The retractable iron rest is a handy feature but i use it more to hang coat hangers more than anything. I highly recommend this board
Large ironing surface, easy to fold and store (even though it is rather baulky)
Might not be suitable for people with smaller space as this is pretty big
Bad
I am very disappointed with this item. I thought I was buying a top of the range product. Castor on the legs would make it much easier to move around the house and to store away
large base
the wire mesh base has distorted after the first use
the padding is too large for the base
