BAD REAR DOOR PRESSING RESULTS IN DOORS NOT FITTING FLUSH
Honda Australia
You need to look at the pressing of the rear doors on the 2017 Jazz model GF. A lot of the Jazz rear doors do not fit flush, including mine. How these cars get past quality control in Thailand beats me. One would think in this day and age a well fitted door would not be beyond a car manufacturer to produce. The selling dealer can not do much with these doors as that is how they come out from the factory. Badly built and even worse pressing/engineering of these doors. Poor build quality indeed. If I had noticed this problem at p...Read more

Best car Ive possibly ever owned!
One of the best small cars on the car market. Economical, reliable and has the magic seats - which separates Jazz from other small car. I moved my entire house (except for the sofa and fridge) in the Jazz! Amazing car which is almost bullet proof! A plus! Thoroughly recommended.

Nice family/weekend car
Have always had no problems with Honda Jazz even from previous generations. Steering is smooth sailing, added with cruise control makes it a breeze. Very reliable, never break down unlike VW golf I had previously had 3 engine replacements within 4 years.
Very spacey interior, plenty leg room, and the best thing is rear seats foldable completely flat providing massive room, becomes almost like a van. The boot has alot of room too perfect for family. Fuel efficiency as advertised, and though not turbocharged or anything still gives pretty decent kick when I need it to. Engine is very quiet. Only -ve is I wish it came with a SAT NAV option...

Great small car
The performance of the car is great, very smooth and enough power for a small car. It is quite noisy, but it is given because it is a small car. There is actually a lot of leg room for a small car, the dashboard could be a bit more sleek and stylish but I love the reverse camera. However, I did have the battery (the car is only 3 years old) die on me which wasn't great but they replaced it under my warranty. The only explanation I was given, was that 'it happens.' The driver's seat door doesn't close properly too if you do it lightly. However, the car is able to run on fuel very efficiently and overall, it is a solid car.

Excellent value and Honda quality engineering
Purchased for elderly father who wanted a smaller car. I'm a Honda fan so this was my first choice. The budget came down to a new Jazz or a 9 month old Cerato. Honda had a January sale so we got the added bonus of 7 yr warranty plus it's 2018 plated.
Aside from the sale price, the Magic Seats were a big drawcard - ideal for walking frames or wheelchairs if/when required. Rear legroom is better than my Civic.
The interior is basic - fewer distractions/complications/things that can break. Reverse camera is subject to glare - solution is to keep a piece of cardboard at the ready under the dashmat for sunny days.

Not too impressed
I have owned my Honda jazz (gk) since start of 2015.
At first, I was really impressed and happy with the purchase in regards to the versatility, style, and performance.
As the years go by, I started to notice imperfections here and there on the finishing of bumpers not lining up to the body/door ect.
The plastics around the steering/dash area would rattle.
As most people would say, the fuel consumption is poor. Very difficult to keep it under 7.8L/100 in city driving. And highway don't seem to improve much, 7.5L/100. And I'm driving like a ...Read more

versatility on wheels
What a pleasure to drive this little car. Mine is new, and the cheapest of the range. You'd never know - such good value. No wonder there are so many on the road. Handles beautifully, and not too many bells and whistles. Power steering and braking excellent. Feels very sturdy despite its size.
Comfortable seats. Driver seat has a dinky pump-up lever which is great for shorties like me. Interior is a bit like the Tardis - bigger on the inside. Hard to credit how versatile the interior is. A folding wheelchair fits comfortably into the hatchback...Read more

Third Jazz and still thrilled
I purchased a Honda Jazz VTi in December - my third - I found both previous cars delightful to drive and own and was hoping I would be as satisfied with this one. It drives beautifully, has good acceleration, handles well and is very quiet. The dashboard layout is easy to understand and all features function well. The seats are very comfortable and the flexibility of the boot and seat arrangement is amazing. Naturally we call it the Tardis.

Further notes on fuel consumption
After four months ownership and about 4000 kms, I have found that fuel consumption is about eight litres per hundred kilometres around the city, six out in the country and seven overall. I still enjoy driving this car. It is a very lively performer despite the excellent fuel economy. I have mostly got used to the firm suspension.

perfect for starting families!
It's a tiny car but it doesn't fail to surprise us how much space it has. We have never had space problems (based on our needs) from transporting our dogs, groceries, bringing tons of luggages to the airport, shopping for (not so big) furniture. The ride is also pretty smooth and very economical compared to our previous cars.

Compact, spacious hatch car. Good Value.
I bought the Honda jazz in 2015. It is quite spacious compared with the Yari (Toyota), Rio (Kia) and Polo(Volkswagen). Good performance in highway. It is not noisy when accelerating. You can download Sygc Car navigation system in your mobile phone and connect it through the usb cable to your screen. The cruise control is fantastic.
The interior is spacious enough for baby seats and prams. Good price - value for money.
The air conditioning of the basic model is a little be noise.

Honda Jazz VTI LE 2017 - More than an average car
A great car indeed. Lots of space that fits virtually everything with its magic seats. Good mileage for a city car. The media system seemed a bit aged to me, but works just fine. Reverse camera is good. A bit pricer I might say but still a decent trade, and it gives what it says. One of the best choice for someone searching for their first hatchback city car.

Good car with some great features and some extraordinary foibles.
My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Jazz. It would have to be the quietest car we have ever owned. On the highway you can carry on a conversation like you were in your living room. One might be tempted to call it "limousine-like". However, there is nothing limousine-like about the suspension, which is surprisingly firm. We bought the Vti model to get the 65 profile tyres but that hasn't been enough to get a soft ride. Fortunately, this is a problem that is less noticeable as the speed rises and I rate the Jazz as a very good highway o...Read more
r motorway car. The CVT transmission enables the motor to coast along at quite low revs, about 1500 at 60 kph, 1800 at 100 kph and 2000 at 110 kph. This contributes to excellent economy, which seems to be averaging about 6 l/100 km. However, Honda has made a big mistake with the central screen that controls the sound system. It works quite well at this job and the reversing camera is excellent. However, the new model introduced this year has had its clock disabled so that passengers have no idea of time. And I say "disabled" advisedly because the spot at the top right where the time was displayed in the previous model is vacant. Also, the settings menu has a Clock-setting position that does nothing. Honda is playing a joke on its customers and itself but it is a pretty corny joke. In summary: good car, thumpy ride at low speed, only the driver knows the time.Similar opinion? Good car to drive
Although listed as a hatchback I was quite impressed with the amount of space inside the car. i.e. legroom. Especially with the backseat.
Car has basic Bluetooth and has been quite fiddly to connect your device.
Car is quite responsive and holds well during turns.
Overall quite happy with the car considering the reasonable price.

Great Little Car
Reason for purchase? My wife wanted a small car. We decided to get a small, low cost, used car.
That didn't happen. Why?
We had looked at a number of cars and were in a Honda car yard when she saw a small, smart looking, red car. Turned out to be a Honda Jazz. This looked like just what she wanted
But we didn't buy it? Why not?
Because I felt we should look at other cars. So that's what we did. A number of vehicles appealed but it came down to the Mazda 2 or the Jazz. The Mazda was, apparently, a very popular vehicle so then -why the Ja...Read more

Well thought out car.
Jazz replaces Magna wagon. Smaller of course but versatile seat layout helps. CVT works well with no hint of problems that were present with earlier models.
I've only done 500km so unable to comment on running costs and reliability. Fuel consumption around 6.1 l/100km on semi rural run, up to 10 l/100km for very short suburban runs. Performance reasonable for 1.5 litres running auto trans. Good brakes.
Base model well equipped and only thing missing is GPS. Good legroom front and rear. Surprisingly good interior space. Constructio...Read more

I love this car!
This is pretty close to being the best car I have ever had. And I have had a LOT of cars!
It is super economical, comfortable - even on long trips - easy to drive and park. I bought it brand new and have had it for almost 2 years now. I drive more than 30,000 kms a year in it, and it never misses a beat.
I love everything about this car.

Very good ride, lots of space but it looks pretty cheap
The car drives very well, very responsive, silent and economic.
It is the base model indeed, but it comes with some fancy electronics - a touch screen dash with bluetooth, reversing camera with dynamic guidelines.
The touch screen system looks good, but it is horrible to use. Very badly designed, you spend a lot of time looking for things that should be far more accessible. Yuk....
Comparing this new model to my old VTI 2003, it looks and feels different in almost everything. The seats' fabric is not nice, it does not give you enough support - it looks and feels cheap.
They also reduced the size of the tyres, which I can tell does not award the same stability my previous 2003 model.
