Compact, spacious hatch car. Good Value.
I bought the Honda jazz in 2015. It is quite spacious compared with the Yari (Toyota), Rio (Kia) and Polo(Volkswagen). Good performance in highway. It is not noisy when accelerating. You can download Sygc Car navigation system in your mobile phone and connect it through the usb cable to your screen. The cruise control is fantastic.
The interior is spacious enough for baby seats and prams. Good price - value for money.
The air conditioning of the basic model is a little be noise.

10yrs old and still in pretty good condition
Pros: Very reliable small car. Purchased Honda Jazz GLI year 2007 and up to now, it is very good condition and performance. Very easy to manouver, boot space is excellent compared to other small car brands. Inside space is pretty reasonable. Very fuel efficient.
Cons: Due to sun exposure, paint started to fade on roof/top area.

Perfect small car.
Great car for driving around Gold Goast area, very economical on fuel. Best feature is the seat flexibility. comfortable seating and plenty of head room for tall people plenty of leg room in back as well. Like the hands free phone and reversing camera. Only criticism is Servicing is recommended every six months which I think is over the top as runs at over $500 per year So i will only get it serviced around the nine months to twelve months as money does not grow on trees.

Great value for money
The car is very responsive so handling is good. The cabin noise is very quiet. The interior space is massive for a small car. It can fit 3 adults in the back seat no problems with ample headroom. Fuel consumption is absolutely amazing. I get around 600km per tank which is great considering the small tank.

Excellent small car
Bought this car second hand and it was still in excellent condition. I still use this car on everyday and despite its age it still runs well. Its small size makes it easy to duck in and out of traffic. Its engine is runs smoothly making it easy to stop and start at traffic lights. A wonderful city car.

Tick Tock Now That's A Clock
Our Honda Jazz runs flawlesly, it is so
well thought out, Emergency Stop Assist
works fast. once it stoped me from a collision
l ended up missing the other car by a good
two meters.
Very happy with my purchase knowing
l have many years ahead of smooth running.
And have a cool today

My little car!
Jazz 2014 it's a great little car, I have had not one issue with her, great on gas and very easy for me to park at the shopping centre; as the park sizes seem to get smaller. The only down side is how long it takes to get the heater warm so I start her up 5 minutes before I leave on those chilly mornings.
I recommend this zippy little car.

Honda Jazz VTI LE 2017 - More than an average car
A great car indeed. Lots of space that fits virtually everything with its magic seats. Good mileage for a city car. The media system seemed a bit aged to me, but works just fine. Reverse camera is good. A bit pricer I might say but still a decent trade, and it gives what it says. One of the best choice for someone searching for their first hatchback city car.

Good little Car
Bought the Honda Jazz VTi 2007 model brand new in Jan 2008 (last of this series). It's been a great little car for the family. Loads of space for 3 kids and 2 adults. The rear seats fold flat, turning the car into a mini-van. I've fitted a 42" Flat Screen TV in its box in the back. Car has had several recalls to do with the Airbags.
Since new, we have driven over 100,000 Km's. The Tires have been replaced twice. The services at Honda are expensive and what I don't like is the CVT gearbox service where they have to flush it twice with oil. Unti...Read more

Good car with some great features and some extraordinary foibles.
My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Jazz. It would have to be the quietest car we have ever owned. On the highway you can carry on a conversation like you were in your living room. One might be tempted to call it "limousine-like". However, there is nothing limousine-like about the suspension, which is surprisingly firm. We bought the Vti model to get the 65 profile tyres but that hasn't been enough to get a soft ride. Fortunately, this is a problem that is less noticeable as the speed rises and I rate the Jazz as a very good highway o...Read more
r motorway car. The CVT transmission enables the motor to coast along at quite low revs, about 1500 at 60 kph, 1800 at 100 kph and 2000 at 110 kph. This contributes to excellent economy, which seems to be averaging about 6 l/100 km. However, Honda has made a big mistake with the central screen that controls the sound system. It works quite well at this job and the reversing camera is excellent. However, the new model introduced this year has had its clock disabled so that passengers have no idea of time. And I say "disabled" advisedly because the spot at the top right where the time was displayed in the previous model is vacant. Also, the settings menu has a Clock-setting position that does nothing. Honda is playing a joke on its customers and itself but it is a pretty corny joke. In summary: good car, thumpy ride at low speed, only the driver knows the time.Similar opinion? Love our jazz!
We spent a long time considering which second car to get. As a family of five who take a big road trip every year and go camping a lot, we love our 7 seater Toyota but we wanted something more fuel efficient as a second car. The jazz fits us all in easily, it is well designed with lots of boot space and it is fun to drive!! I'm so happy that we bought a jazz!

Nice little car
I've had my 2016 Jazz for around 4 months now, bought on the run-out sales. It's brilliant on fuel, (averaging between 6 & 7 litres per 100kms) and for someone who normally doesn't like automatics, the CVT is great. I have had a Mazda 2 and this car is far superior, in every aspect.
The only minor quirks are that the stereo has an annoying safety message, every time you start the car, that has to be manually acknowleged, by pressing the "ok". I recommend getting a screen protector (like for a phone), because if you drive the car regularly, ...Read more

Great car!
Bought it second hand for a reasonable price.
Great car. Feels like flying when driving even when driving at 100kms - smoother than my other cars.
Also great at carrying things. The back seats fold completely flat and it is high enough to easily fit furniture without having to rent a van!

Good car to drive
Although listed as a hatchback I was quite impressed with the amount of space inside the car. i.e. legroom. Especially with the backseat.
Car has basic Bluetooth and has been quite fiddly to connect your device.
Car is quite responsive and holds well during turns.
Overall quite happy with the car considering the reasonable price.

Decent car, but dont expect too much
The change from gear 1 to gear 2 is a bit slow and can make it seem it struggles to get up hills. Internal is spacious for a small car. Drains petrol quite a bit for its size as compared to other comparable small cars. The bluetooth function does not connect to music player and the rear sensor beep a lot even though the object is far from the car (can get annoying at times).

2013 Honda Jazz Vibe-S
Bought the 2013 Honda Jazz Vibe-S (auto) for the wife with a tad over 20,000 kms on the clock. We love how spacious the little car is on the inside for such a small bodyprint. The magic seats have been perfect for us when moving houses as we have been able to pack in a surprising amount of large items into the back with the seats folded down, including a 6 drawer chest of drawers, 1100 x 1300 canvas painting and outdoor furniture!
Performance and handling is as expected with a 1.5L engine returning real world fuel economy of around 7-8L/100km...Read more

Practical car very functional, but lacking the fun to drive factor.
I purchased this used blue 2012 Honda Jazz GE manual VTI vibe hatch back from Formula Honda September 2016 to replace my troublesome GD Honda Jazz, although the buying experience was pleasurable, the car has turned out to be rather disappointing. Mine is the 1500 cc manual V T I, with quite a few extras, like side skirts, driving lamps, etc. The car is very appealing to the eye. It is really roomy for a small hatchback, also, you can store things as large as a washing machine in the rear with seats folded down. The car had 13,000 kms on the odo...Read more
meter at purchase, with one careful elderly owner and full service history. It is a very comfortable car to sit in or be a passenger in, very quiet and reasonable road manners, the seating is slightly raised so you have a good clear view of the road but not too high as to cause wandering or instability while driving. My worse gripe is the engine revs higher in this manual version compared to our automatic Jazz, at 60 kph in top gear it sits on 2000 rpm, compared to the auto which is 1500 rpm at the same speed. The shift is rather sloppy and not at all smooth. 2nd gear is appalling and is better to skip it and go straight to 3rd. I love to drive a manual car but this is not at all what I expected, the previous model was way better to drive, it shifted easier and smoother, and it did not rev its guts out at low speeds, the high revs also impact on the fuel economy, the auto is about a litre per 100 kilometers easier on fuel, I average about 6.8 per 100kms in this manual, and yet in a straight line the auto can get way better than this down to 5,6. I was hoping the newer model (GF) had rectified this revving situation but on a test drive I can assure you they have not. So, if you are like me, and LOVE to drive a manual car, then I would suggest something else, like a Mazda 2, they drive better, and shift better, BUT, you can't fit people in the rear, What to do ?**** Its been 2 years now and I have put 27,000 kms on this car, the shift has improved, I am willing to live with it a few more years, as nothing comes close to the comfort and room on offer in this class of vehicle.Similar opinion? Engine Failure
Bought my Honda Jazz with 52000 km, great car at first, had it serviced when due, then at 86000 the engine blew up, it was 6 weeks out of warranty. Took it to Honda dealer where originally purchased said they need to strip it down to see if can warrant engine at a cost of $850.00 to me. Result - I must have driven through water which then somehow got through air filter resulting to 1 corroded engine rod. What a heap of crap, if that was case all 4 rods will have corroded according to a reputable independent mechanic. Dealer told me my engi...Read more
ne is only Honda to have failed in Australia, another lie, a customer of mine has a Honda Accord that had same issue, and yes, they told him he drove through water also. The dealership could have saved me time and around $1200.00 if they told me straight up to just put second hand motor in car, as they had no intention of any good will . All they did was add salt to the wounds, they are disgusting, and thanks to them I would never own another Honda car again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Dont trade in your old Jazz - You will be sorry
Optimistic purchase based on my trusty 2004, having done 162,000km. But the new one is disappointing.
Most uncomfortable seats ever! No back or lateral support in the seats - either bolt upright or too far away. Getting bad back.
Boot space disappeared - no longer a strong point. Flimsy flap replaces previous retractable boot cover. No CD player. Cant work out how to pair with iphone to get navigation - too complicated. Manual gear box stiff ++.
Fuel economy not that good - cant get under 6.3l/100km even using 98 RON. Old VTis getting 5.7 on 91 RON.
Cheaply made from Thailand. 6 month services... no I'm not paying that. I've gone back to my old one, might just give the new one to my mother.

My gf's honda is 2003 and has been sent the car back to mechanics for fixing CVT transmission issue for a few times. I am wondering after what year Honda Jazz actually fixed the problem and is safe to buy? Or does it exist in all models?
