Stylish and hard wearing
I've had a number of Smart Watches. I use the Huawei Watch 2 as my dress watch because its not too big and looks good. A great feature is that it turns off the SIM when the phone is near. That makes the battery last very well. I am quite harsh on my watches, often banging them on walls/objects. The Huawei shows no signs of scratching like my others have. It is a bit slow occasionally though.

Great smartwatch with some flaws
Am so happy with my Huawei Watch 2. I feel just like Dick Tracey walking through the supermarket talking to my watch. The watch has great features and is easy to pair to your mobile phone. It send you all messages you receive on your phone, emails and Facebook messages as well. It also has the NFC function which works great with Google Pay so you can pay for your purchases with your watch. The other great thing about this watch is that you can hook it up to a 4G plan. (as far as I know it's currently only supported by Vodafone, which I found quite annoying)
Being a 4G watch I was hoping it would hook up to any 4G mobile plan. Alas it seems all providers use a different 4G network.

Disappointed
Never been a fan of huawei until bought mate 10 pro phone.
Phone is amazing and I am really happy about it.
Then I thought let's get the watch too, how bad it could be.
Basically it's crap, it's keep get discounted which is so annoying.
As a Huawei user I know what this guys capable of and I have to say it is more than obvious they didn't spend much time developing this watch. Bottons could be way more functional.
The whole watch could be way smarter.
Long story short I wouldn't call it a smart watch, it's just not a dumb watch but de...Read more

Extremely solid smart watch
This watch has served me excellently so far as an all in one smart watch. Thanks to Android Wear 2.0, the number of features on offer are more than plentiful, and the watch integrates them all quite well. The design itself is fairly large, but on my wrist I feel that it looks quite nice, and there are plenty of straps available, although the original strap is quite stylish.

Good technology, bit slow
This watch looks nice and classic, however it definitely is not as crisp and responsive as some other products out there. The watch faces provided as default work far better than any customizable watch faces, since those drain the battery very fast and aren't as smooth. The watch syncs very well with my phone, and there are no problems in terms of the preloaded apps or AndroidPay (this is a game changer).

Daily driver watch with no major complaints!
I wear this watch daily and use it at work, it's definitely handy in-between meetings. The notifications are great, the watch feels nice on the hand. The best feature software wise is the watch mode that Huawei have implemented. It turns the watch into a normal watch (no smart features bar the step counter) - this was very helpful on recent international flights. Besides that, Android Pay is perfect and a must-have for any Android Wear user! My biggest criticism and reason for the -1 star is that the battery consumption is still quite aggressiv...Read more
e and if I've ever forgotten to put it on charge overnight, it won't last the next day without turning on watch mode. Lastly, the device is a little bulky on certain wrists. It looks fine on most male wrists, but looks gigantic on my partner's. Overall a great device, I'd definitely purchase it again and would recommend it to others.Similar opinion? Good smart watch
It's my first smart watch and I can say it met all my expectations.
I can use it as hands free in the car and the quality of calls is pretty good on both sides of the conversation.
Charges pretty quickly and you need to do it every day if heavy use or every second day otherwise.
When you see battery running low you can switch off smart features and use it as normal watch.
Phone stays home, watch goes with me when jogging. GPS locks in pretty quickly and is quite accurate.
More than expected apps on google play store, including Android Pay.
Comes with many watch faces.
Shows sms and other notifications along with a tiny keyboard - cute but completely useless :)
Shows google maps GPS on its small screen.
Overall pretty good.
