Inokim OX Super - I love it, but it isn't perfect.

published

The rear mechanical brake - only pushes from one side, useless and wears the rotor out on one side if you don't adjust regularly. I've replaced it with a hybrid system so that pushes up my purchase price by NZ$120. Have had to replace the stem locking mechanism which failed. Also was alarmed to find that the stud on the front of the locking mechanism was starting to come out on its own, scary. Not a fan of that system. Also pushes up my purchase price by NZ$60. I have no problem with the thumb throttle, really used to that by now.

Very smooth and enjoyable to ride. Looks to be generally well made but is not cheap.

All in all satisfied but not over the moon.

Purchased in November 2021.

Good, with supplier problems.

published

A good piece of equipment. Everything works well. The only problem I have is that the throttle, which is operated by the right thumb, is touchy, and doesn't have enough resistance. Just takes some getting used to. The supplier in Brisbane is hopeless, (EScooters) and their service is not very good. They have left me with two problems I can’t fix, and they can’t fix. That’s a $2600 toy that they are selling but can’t fix properly.

Purchased in April 2021 at 99 Bikes for A$2,600.00.
