Three little pigs
Love my MUX LST, except for three things, which threaten to blow my house down. Isuzu sets the speedo to over read by a full 9 km/h @100 km/h. I have owned, any cars and this one is the worst. I know it is within legal specs based on ADR, but it is very irritating when cars go zooming by and tailgate you simply because you are travelling slower than anybody else. I can understand 2 or 3 km/h, but 9 is just too much. I also wonder if that means the fuel consumption details are wrong too by 9% or if I am being slugged for services 9% too often? ...Read more
The navigation system in my opinion sucks. The maps are very outdated and the satnav does not have the features that other satnavs have. Many of the camera and speed zones are completely wrong and maps are seriously old. The speed cruise is also a problem. When driving on the highway at over 100km/h and touching the brakes to deactivate the speedcruise, the car jolts. It does not happen when you manually cancel the cruise setting. According to the dealership, on all three, the wolf is in charge and there is nothing I can do about it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good choice
We have had our mu-x for one month now and we are so happy with our choice, very comfy ride and not at all noisy. Looked at lots of 4x4 before settling on the Isuzu, and we have made the right choice. We have no complaints to date and don't expect to have any in the future.

Best Vehicle for price on the market
Done 30,000km's and the Isuzu mux is the best car I've ever owned.
It is down on power against its rivals but it just does everything effortlessly regardless and returns great fuel consumption.
Isuzu vehicles are some of the most reliable ever built I expect this mu-x to still be going strong long after other brands have made they're way to the wreckers.
Can't recommend this 4bie enough to someone in the market for one.

Bonnet Protector
I recently purchased pearl white isuzu mux and had isuzu bonnet protector installed. Within 100km the bonnet protector had caused $1298.00 damage to the vehicle as it scratched through the paint. I intially thought maybe installation issue until l saw my friends mux which had been damaged even more. There protector had been installed at a different dealer. Know l will end up with a new isuzu mux with a resprayed bonnet.

Usb port
love the car but the usb port fell inwards when I went to put a usb in it. Have had the car for 7 months but only got to this feature the other day. Hope warranty covers it.

Solid car
Solid car, excellent off road - not as good on road. But thats why we bought it. A highly capable offroader thats good around town. 9l per 100k pretty good. Go the LS-T.

Watch out for the fuel estimate for distance!!
Distance on remaining fuel 130km. Actual travel distance 90km.
What is really annoying is that the estimated remaining distance cuts out at around 100km and replaced with 'low fuel'. When you see 'low fuel' you have less than 80km.

You will not find a better car for the same $
Bought this car in March 2014 and have done 42,500km (of which 32,000 was a lap around Australia).
We towed a van weighing 2.5-2.75t, and averaged 14.25 to 15.25L per 100km (travelling 85-90km per hour when towing).
Not towing, general use around town, is around 8.5 to 9.5L per 100 km.
It is a very capable vehicle... we went 4WD'ing on our lap of Australia to many places... Kakadu, Kimberleys, Bungle Bungles, Steep Point... as a stock standard vehicle (including tyres) it handled well.
Yes, it has had three recalls but all very minor - better to be safe than sorry.

solid car
For starters the bluetooth audio streaming and phone works perfectly on my Android and iPhone. Which in the reviews and other people saying it doesn't have it are completely incapable of using technology.
I've had no noises or banging of seatbelts, and I have had a seatbelt recall and got the 55 off my service.
With no lift and stock tyres ive been on some soft sand dunes incline and declines and it handles and performed perfectly. Using caltex vortex diesel sitting on 110 I got 770km out of a big highway run and on normal use 700 is a usual...Read more
