Fantastic Quality and Service
I knew I wanted to build my latest PC, and I wanted to do it locally. When I went into JW the guys helped me straight away. Asking what my main reasons for its use where going to be, and suggesting different parts. I came away with a quote, and absolutely no pressure to buy. I rang them a bit later, and asked if it was possible to upgrade some parts, and again they where more than happy to help, and make suggestions.
It took less than 10 days for them to finish the build (it would have been quicker if they had all parts in stock), and the build quality is fantastic.
This machine is a beast, and I will definitely use them again.

Cisco SPA 112 ATA
I required this adaptor as I have just received NBN and wanted to keep my analog phone. Was recommended this product by my internet provider. It was super-easy to purchase online. Communication and postage from JW was both A+.
If only installation was as easy! It took my provider 2 attempts and over an hour to remotely connect it, and this is a product they are familiar with! Maybe you could DIY if you know IT, but I definitely needed the help.
Otherwise this product does the job intended- let's hope for a long, long, time.

Excellent Customer Service from Robert at Castle Hill
I went in looking for a new graphics card for my computer. I had a model in mind, however I was not 100% sure of what I was purchasing. Robert, one of the staff members working, approached me to see if there was anything I needed help with, and was quick and efficient at finding the product I was after. He was also happy to answer all my questions, provide alternative options, and even helped me figure out what part of my computer to upgrade next providing me with a wide array of options and comprehensive detail. He never seemed pushy or like h...Read more
e was forcing me to buy anything, and I left extremely satisfied. I will be back in the next couple of months to pick up a new monitor at Roberts suggestion. Very happy customer experience, highly recommend!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I forced to accept an unfair treatment from JW
My HP Envy x360 laptop unable to recognise Simplecom CH381 USB 3.1 Type C (USB-C) 4 Port Hub. The store refused to return. It is a disappointing experience. I was forced to have the 1 sided 'conclusion'.

Hi Jon,
Sorry to hear about your disappointment during your last visit to our store. This is never our intention and I have looked into this for you. ... Read more
Upon speaking to our staff and reviewing our CCTV, I understand that we did process the return for you, though we charged you with a restocking fee as the unit packaging had been opened. You brought the unit in to return it under the grounds that it was faulty. Our Staff then tested the unit in your presence, and found it to be working as normal, which is why they charged the restocking fee to return the product in a used/opened state. If you have more information that you could share with me regarding this experience, please send me a PM and I will look into this furthermore. Thank you, AndreAs my comment highlighted the hub is not recognised in hp envy x360 laptop. Your staff test on a Samsung phone.
I voice out this issue on spot and was ignored.

Bankstown store staff have dishonored the price agreement to fix our PC and charged us $65 diagnosis fee on top of that.
Unfortunately, My wife took our little daughter’s computer to Bankstown store to fix it, she has been told that the PC motherboard has an issue and it would cost $200 to fix which she agreed on and lift the PC at the store to pick it up fixed second day, second day, she has received a phone call saying that she actually needs to pay $250 not $200 anymore!!! My wife wife did not agree and told the staff member that I will pick up the PC and I will take it to another repairer for dishonoring the agreement, I went to the store and asked why did no...Read more
t you honor you quotation, staff replied that the staff member that initially spoke to my wife is not really familiar with pricing, then I have been told that they will repair the PC however if I pay $200 as agreed plus $65 “diagnostic fee” !!! Another ripoff and an insult to the customer intelligence, when I asked why, I have been told that “that is how we have been operating for the last 9 years and customers are fine with it!!! I lost $65 and lift the store very disappointed and I thought that JW Prospectives should know how this store is running “ whether your item is fixed or not if you do not agree with the given quote then pay $65, take your item and go” Very bad experience and shocking ways of ripping customers off. A one or few minute assessment fee should be a part of the quote not on the top of it and dishonoring an agreement with a customer is unprofessional.1 comment

Hi Mohammad,
Sorry to hear of your frustration with your experience with us. ... Read more
Upon further investigation with each member of staff you have dealt with, and also our internal CRM which includes our logs/notes, I believe there is a misunderstanding here. When your machine was originally dropped off for repair, it was advised that there is a $65 diagnostic fee. This covers the time and labour of our technician troubleshooting your PC to identify the issues. Once the fault was diagnosed (faulty motherboard), it is then that we called to advise of the cost of the part ($175 for the motherboard), and $75 for the labour (as it’s essentially similar to a rebuild); totalling $250. Upon your frustration and a gesture of good will, our Manager reduced your total to $200, meaning your labour was only $25. If we had absorbed the $65 diagnostic charge in addition to this; then simply - we’d be operating at a loss for this case. I do apologise that your experience wasn’t what you expected, but I do hope you can understand and give us another try in the future. If you do have any further enquires or questions, please feel free to reach me at at [email protected]. Regards, AndreSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Claiming Products are Mac compatible when they are not - Bad customer service - Didn't care
over 1.5 hour round trip to collect a portable monitor that was NOT COMPATIBLE with my Macbook even though the item description clearly states IT IS on their website. Guy was kind enough to allow me to try it first - good job I did!
No recourse, they didn't really care about my inconvenience.
Website appears good, but with sloppiness like this you're still just a budget local computer store. Sort it out.

Hi Daniel,
We're very sorry that you were inconvenienced with your purchase/experience with us. ... Read more
Prior to this instance, we have sold 409 units without any compatibility/connection issues or problems. As a result of this one case, we will be putting a disclaimer/note on the product listing which says to enquire within, asking for the customer to state their particular model of Mac and OSx - as clearly the product had issues with an older model. We didn't have this note on the listing before, as we had never encountered a single connection problem with Mac (or PC) users in the 409 other units sold to date. Please note, our website description for our product listings, are generally sourced direct from manufacturer, and all care is definitely taken to ensure it's correct from our end at time of listing. Your experience and issues' faced have been logged and will be used to better ourselves - this I can, and have assured you. Our apologies once again for the inconvenience caused. Great Customer Service
I went to the Castle Hill shop to purchase some parts to build a new computer. I was having some problems getting the pc to work, and took it back to the shop. Spoke to Wen who was fantastic and fixed the problem. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. A big shout out to Nathan, who also tried to help me; as well as the general friendliness and helpfulness of the store staff, on the times I've rang up to get information and help on purchasing products at the store.
