Easy experience
We hired a mower from kennards hire and everything went smoothly. We just found the price a little higher than we initially expected but all in all a good experience

Overall good
I found that the prices can vary between branches and the quality of customer service can too, what I mean by this is different charges etc. for even though your taking out the same bit of kit
Excellent service
Always have what I need available and never an issue when it comes to hiring equipment. Equipment always works fine. Staff always kind and approachable, know their stuff inside out

Excellent Service
I went to Kennards in Rockingham TODAY 10/12/18 - Mikey was very pleasant and efficient; I had to repair a roller door and support post which had been nudged by a car and knocked out of alignment - I ran my ideas past Mikey and he agreed that this was the way to go; failing that, he said, come back and I have a contact who can do it for you; he lent me a rubber mallet (as it turned out my partner had one in the garage anyway.........) and the job was done straight away.
It is good to still see the old-fashioned assistance and time given to a customer - thank you Mikey ... and Kennards.
I would recommend them to ANYONE looking to hire in Rockingham.

Pleasantly surprised
I hired an electric drain eel and was pretty nervous when I left the store - the guy i spoke to on the phone was different to the person who gave me the equipment and he gave me very inaccurate information about the lengths of cabling included. None the less I took the stuff, rolled up my sleeves and got into some serious work. I discovered quickly that the 'disconnector key' had long since been lost and had to struggle with and damage screwdrivers to disconnect the cables and attachments. It took twice as long as it should have, but job got done and I packed the equipment in the car for an early morning return. When I got to the store as it opened (at 7) I immediately queried whether I would get the 4 hour rate, as overnight from 4pm - 8am is deemed 4 hours and I'd picked up shortly before 4. The guy I dealt with then was very friendly and quick to assure me that yeah, no worries, 4 hour rate was fine. I then pointed out the issue with the machine and he seemed to argue back a bit saying 4 people had used it over the weekend with no complaints. When I explained I had gotten the job done, I was just worried it had been harder than it needed to be, he accepted this and took it on board, assuring me he'd have it checked out. He then knocked off the extra cable hire, on top of the 4 hour rate, so I walked away paying a little over half the $200 I thought I'd owe! An excellent, tiring and worthwhile endeavour - I'm never paying an 'expert' to do a 30 minute half assed job on my drains for $200+ every again! This is the North Perth store on Charles street, I'd suggest getting in early or on weekends - the morning staff seemed way more on it than the weekday afternoon crew.Apologies for our delay in saying thank you for the kind words Tim!

We do have weekly and long-term rates on vehicles and trailers for those longer trips if you are planning to return to your hiring branch or area.
