Avoid. Terrible lifespan from a cheap product.
You get what you pay for. As an impulse purchase, I nabbed a discounted package deal from Kogan that included a vaccume sealer, bags and this unit. The vaccume sealer was unusable, and replaced in a week (Kogan's customer service was so bad I just gave up and purchased from a reputable source.) The sous vide unit itself functioned well for about 5-6 months and I became a fan of this cooking method. Then the unit just stpooed working. I will not bother to replace it. I certainly will not be purchasing anything from Kogan ever again.

Love it, the only way to cook steaks.
Bought the Kogan sous vide in December 2014 and immediately loved the way it cooked. Steak to your liking every time. Unfortunately it stopped working after 9 months but Kogan replaced it straight away. It ran flawlessly for three more years and then the pump stopped working. After a $10 purchase from Amazon and 15 minute to replace the pump all was good again. Definitely worth the price and easy to repair.
