Be prepared for issues, really disappointed in their products, never again
Since the day of purchase my '55' smart tv often freezes and turns on and off by itself...Also you have to switch off at powerpoint as sometimes tv comes on randomly, not good at 2am...I dont recommend at all, going back to my Samsung
Purchased in June 2021.

Such a shonky product. Lasted 18 months.
I bought a KALED55XXXTA 18 months ago. The contrast and sound was bad but usable. Then two weeks ago when I turn on TV it went to the white Kogan splash screen and it would stay for 5 seconds then blank and the splach screen again. This went on in a continuous cycle. I went to the help.kogan.com website and submitted my question twice. No response. Then I called several repair centres and they tell me they don't have any spare parts for Kogan TVs and I would be better off buying a cheap TCL and get 3 years warranty.I think Kogan should not sell TVs if they generate so much negative sentiment with their TVs.
Purchased in January 2021 for $780.00.

Good style. Samsung surround.
Good quality stylish tv’s at an affordable price. Having had Kogan prior I upgraded to the 55”. Please be aware that if you do have issues, customer service is through email with the troubleshooting or file fix sent to you. This is the downfall to my rating. The hard file fix for my TV worked fine.

Faulty tv, bad service
I bought the above tv from kogan, the original tv didn't last even 2 years. The replacement tv also didn't last 2 years and now kogan is saying I will have to pay for repairs, the poor quality of these tv's is an extreme disappointment and very expensive for what you get.

Terrible screen & sound
Terrible junk screen. 4k even looks terrible. Sound is tinny. Total ripoff rubbish. OS is totally old school. Colours bleed, any movement. And the picture loses perspective. This is not a HD 4k smart TV. This is false advertising and Kogan ought face trade practices penalties for deceptive and misleading conduct.

Fine while it worked
Tv lasted 2 years 9 months. I was happy with it while it lasted but dont consider this product was value for money given the limited life. I have purchased a different brand and hope for a longer tv life. I note that most units only have a 1 tear warranty.

Excellent image, sound is average but easy to fix by attaching speakers
How satisfied are you with the picture quality? 10/10
How satisfied are you with the unit's built-in speakers? 6/10
Does the unit have enough ports? Multiple HDMI, USB, Audio in, Audio out, etc.
If the unit is a Smart TV, how satisfied are you with its operating system & apps? Not applicable, isn't smart. Buy A chrome cast instead, cheaper when combined and better functioning than many smart TVs.

Terrible sound but a good picture
This tv has a few cons: it's slow to power up, has terrible sound and no 'smart' features.
In my opinion these are outweighed by the solid picture (for the price). Particularly when a Chromecast and a soundbar can overcome its limitations. I was able to mount it without issue and it worked well as a mounted TV.

Good quality for the price
I opened the box on arrival to find it damaged. called Kogan who originally wanted me to send it off for repair. I told them I wanted a brand new unit as I just received this. Replacement came and working well. Picture quality and design is great. I would recommend for Xbox or movies

Died after two years - LCD panel failed
This Kogan LED TV died after just two years. I purchased another 46" LCD TV which lasted 4 years. Unfortunately on both TV's the LCD panel died. They both had Samsung panels.
I was pleased with it while it worked, but next time I will either pay for extra warranty or buy a better brand.

best "dumb" TV around - would love to buy a second
I purchased this TV because I have a PlayStation four, which means anything that I want to put on the TV will be generated from the PlayStation, which means I don't need a smart TV. What that means is that I only need a TV that will just put the picture out there, apparently that means it will be a "dumb TV quo I purchased this TV because I have a PlayStation four, which means anything that I want to put on the TV will be generated from the PlayStation, which means I don't need a smart TV. 4 years in, still going strong
No problems at all. Great HD picture and currently wall mounted. Sound is average but I have it connect to my amp. This model has a 3D feature as well which works great, but I never use. 55" is great for 4-player split-screen gaming too! Love Kogan TVs, parents have my old one (even older) and that's also still working perfectly.

TV died at 23 months old.
Software was atrocious, had to dismiss the setup wizard every time I powered it on (I dont have a tv antenna). Software uses a menu to change source so its near impossible to use it with my logitech programmable remote.
Backlight died this morning, 11 months out of warranty. $757 for 706 frustrating days.
Had the brightness way down so blacks were tolerable. Never used the sound.
Cant find parts or knowledge online because they do such small runs per model.

4 years and still going!!!
Mate I though after paying so little for a 55" TV that it would last 1 year then break.
The only thing is that after 2 years it turns off sometimes by itself, but that is the only problem.
I will never pay top dollar for a tv again.
It's still going strong!!!!!
Kogan TVs are great!

Good Picture, not so good sound
Let me say firstly that the TV is Great Value. It was easy to set up and looks good. The only real issue I have is that the sound is a bit tinny and not really up to a screen that size, but with the money you save on the TV you can easily buy a sound base or sound bar so overall its not a bad TV (For the price)

Parents loves it
I bought this TV for my parents as a gift. Its the biggest TV they've thus far and its high tech for them. In their words 'We love our TV thank you son'.
Having sat with them and watched Avatar on blue ray they were freaking out at how good the pic was, my only gripe is the tinny sound, but that's the audiophile in me, but hey no TV these days have good sound otherwise they cant be skinny. So I got one of my sisters to buy them a bar speaker to amplify the TV now to them its a home cinema. Dad now loves watching his rugby even more and moum loves her foreign soap operas.
If my parents love their TV then so do I.

Wonderful
This has the best picture i have had on a tv so far, it comes with everything I need and was easily plugged up for Foxtel, DVD player, external hard drive and easy to use remote. Its a shame this is a discontinued item, but i would certainly recommend Kogan TV's

Well worth the price.
I've had my 55inch Kogan LED TV for a month now. It's brilliant for the price that you pay. A good size, decent screen quality and it looks good. The sound is quite bad but I expected that, although it is still tolerable. Also, I own a lot of VHS cassettes and they come out very average on the screen. Other than these minor things it's a great TV. definitely worth the cheap price Kogan are selling it for!

Kogan TVs are the worse you can buy. I threw away two year old Kogan because there is no support to answer any questions. Don't expect to get any firmware updates . Just put the TV in the bin.
