Picture Unperfect
Initially I found this TV to be adequate for the money paid but I am reminded by my Wife what utter rubbish the picture is. Occasionally I have had to go down and turn it off in the middle of the night as it turns itself on. The colour issue is similar to the previous reviewer. I have my picture going through Foxtel cable and it is still a rubbish picture. I enquired for more instruction but they are limited and hasn't improved the picture at all.

Utter Garbage. DO NOT BUY
I bought this TV on sale for $599 (reg. $799) 05/05/2020 after looking at it for a while. It's well marketed and shipping was really fast even during Covid dispatch issues. Received TV 08/05/2020. First day of use (8th May) I sent an email to customer service saying I think my device is faulty all aspect ratios condense the image sideways. 24-36 hrs later I am advised to power cycle the TV, reset to factory settings and update firmware. Did that twice, no change. Circle icons were still ellipses, words stretched upwards, people were TALL and or...Read more
ange or red. I spent the better part of three days reading their help guides applying their advice. Nothing worked and nothing changed. I hooked it up to my PC and even customised the aspect ratio via my graphics card. Circle icons looked more like circles but the resolution of the image was terrible. Current movies in all video players look pixellated, as in, I can see squares on their face/skin. This TV is meant to be 4K UHD. Our 7 year old LG plasma still provides a better picture. What's worse, daytime settings that make it an okay image, cannot be used at night. You must go back into the settings to adjust the colour, contrast and brightness to even watch it at night. It's blindingly bright. Lowing the image brightness via the built in options lowers everything so that people do not have defined features anymore. The remote feels and looks cheap. The screws that hold the legs on de-threaded while putting it together and did not go fully into the socket. The sound is like someone shouting through a megaphone at the back wall. I initially thought the device was faulty, now my assessment is that is not fit for purpose, the aspect ratio, contrast and colour cannot be fixed via internal controls. Customer service is utterly useless. I sent an email 11/05/2020 saying I wanted the TV picked up and a full refund including three year warranty to which "Chuck" from customer service replied: "Thanks for your reply with the attached photos. Kindly refer to the link below and it will help you rectify the issue on your TV: What are the best picture settings for my TV? Please let me know how it goes so that I can assist you further." I think "Chuck" is a robot. It's a shame it still takes 72 hours to reply to a customer service complaint. Maybe "Chuck" is built with the same software as this TV. If anyone is listening: DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Save your money for a better brand unless you like watching full HD and 1080p videos with no definition, stretched features and orange or red complexions. Customer service is a joke. They do not listen and the do not respond appropriately. The online guides are utter nonsense and do not help. Kogan, please note, this TV is packed up in it's box awaiting collection. If I do not get a response that listens to my request, I will be going to the Ombudsman.Purchased in May 2021 at Kogan.com for A$599.00.

Terrible TV and service
Two of the most critical inbuilt apps don't load and have no capability to reinstall. Plus some websites can't be accessed because the TV thinks you are living overseas even when your IP is Telstra in Australia. Service department absolutely no assistance when they bother to reply. Could be days...... Pathetic customer service. You buy cheap, you get cheap.

Perfect tv
This tv has a great picture quality, it's a little tricky to figure out the features and functions when adjusting the screen to what you like. The sound quality it amazing. Its pretty much set up already. Some of the free viewing apps don't work properly, the channel 9 doesn't work at all and the 7 plus doesn't let me watch the cricket. I haven't tried any others as of yet. The youtube is super east to use, everyone in the family loves it. Netflix is also a top favorite for everyone, at the press of a button it launches so quickly. The absolu...Read more
te worst thing about this tv is the leg stands, I am not a fan of the standard placement. I wish it was placed in the center instead of at the ends. I found it light waight and thin. The wifi connection is really stable, I've been using the tv for over a month now and it has not failed me. I cant say the same for chrome! I have never used it before so I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong but I tried to watch a movie from my laptop to the chrome cast but it kept freezing up and I just ended up connecting with hdmi cable. And lastly I love that when I switch off the tv and turn it back on again it starts up right where I left off.Purchased in November 2021 at Kogan.com for A$379.00.
