Best quality, worth the extra money

published

Originally when I was recommended these wraps by a friend I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price.
But having used them, I can say they are definitely worth paying that little extra for the quality you get.
Great stretch so you can get a really snug fit so even the wiggliest baby cannot escape. Also the extra size really helps as the baby gets bigger. Can be used for all sorts of things after you stop swaddling; burp cloth, pram cover, feeding privacy cover and a cot sheet or blanket in the park.
The fabric is nice and soft. Fantastic Australian made product.

Best swaddle wrap I've used

published

We struggle to keep our baby wrapped with other wraps as they were too small once our baby hit the 4kg mark and she would easily fight her arms out and then wake up. I was recommended them by a sleep consultant who visited when bub was 11 weeks old. The wrap is 120 x 120 cm so loads of space and made of a nice cool yet cosy cotton with a bit of give bit not too much. I've just bought two more as gifts for friends with newborns. I also really like the patterns (I have the Jesse). I would definitely recommend these.

My husband loves these wraps!

published

Disclaimer: I don't use wraps to swaddle our baby. I'm a big fan of the sleeping bag. Having said this my husband loooovvves to swaddle using wraps. After becoming frustrated with numerous different brands he announced that the L'il Fraser Baby Wrap is THE BEST WRAP, no other wrap compares and that I our family needs more L'il Fraser Baby Wraps in our life...I think he really like them.

The BEST and seriously.. ONLY wrap I used.

published

Got this wrap as a baby shower gift from a friend who was obsessed with it. I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. As if one wrap could be that much better than others. Well she wasn't wrong. It is brilliant. And I had a drawer full of different kinds. I used to go into the dirty wash basket and pull it out because others were bloody useless at keeping my Houdini babies arms from escaping and waking them up. Ended up buying two more and threw the other brands away. They lasted through two babies, and then I passed them on as they were still in good nick. Every baby shower I go to I just buy one of these. I end up getting thanked as the BEST gift giver ever. Lol seriously. They're more expensive, but they are worth every penny.

Simply gorgeous!

published

It's really the best around - generously sized, very soft and I prefer the jersey to muslin personally.
There are a lot of functional wraps around which are good but none has the style of Lil Fraser. It's my go to gift for baby showers and every friend I give them too is delighted.

We thought it was a bit overpriced at first, but we've used it for 3 years and still going! We use ours as a top sheet on our toddler. He's a real wriggler, and no other sheet or blanket will stay on overnight. Being super stretchy, this one keeps him tucked in all night long. Makes an excellent gift.
Super stretchy, the only top sheet that stays on our toddler overnight
Pricey but worth it. One edge needed a bit of re-stitching, but easily fixed in a couple of minutes.

The only wrap I use

published

Both my children have been "Houdini babies" - they could get out of any wrap I ever tried, until I brought a lil fraser wrap. We now have about 6 of them! They have great stretch, are larger than most wraps and you can swaddle your baby nice and tight while still allowing them to move around a little bit.

We also use our wraps as pram covers, light blankets and breastfeeding cover when out and about.

The only downside I can find is that the wraps lose their shape very quickly, but it does not affect the workings of the wrap.
Fantastic stretch, large in size and easy to use
Looses its shape quite quickly

I really like this wrap. I have to say I used it more as a blanket, pram cover, tummy time rug, etc as I tended to use the zip up swaddles, but I highly recommend them.

I like the selection of colours and patterns and basically just liked them. I haven't got anything bad to say. I think it should be a stample for new mums.
Nice and large. The quality is obvious and very good. The pattern/colour selection.
Nothing. Some people say too pricey, but it really is a cut above the rest so I didn't mind paying for it as I really felt I got value for the money spent.

A great swaddling blanket, beats all the others hands down. It's lightweight and can be used in summer or winter if baby is dressed accordingly. Can also be added as a blanket for the pram, or cot (if you used bedding in the cot) Have also used it to lay baby on while in the park. It's also very large and stretchy so you can get a nice tight swaddle and it grows with baby.
Very large, stretchy, cotton, can be used as a blanket for the pram or an extra layer in the cot once baby is no longer swaddled.
Expensive

A great wrap, I'd recommend it to any new mother. Even if you're not an expert wrapper you will be able to keep your baby from startling themselves awake with these.
These are great wraps. I was recommended them while pregnant and have ended up with four so I'm never without one. They have a little give in the cotton so you can wrap the baby tight and even if they struggle they can't get free but can move a little within their swaddling and get comfortable. My son gets out of other wraps and wakes himself up but not these. I also like the simple patterns and they are light enough for summer.
Can't think of any.
