Majority of profiles appear to be computer generated. If you attempt to contact a person via the IM system, as soon as you hit send the person suddenly becomes off line. I have played with the IM system extensively and have been able to confirm this.
Don't bother trying to get a reply from an email as the computer you are communicating with is unable to send replies .

Difficult and confusing site to work in

Lava Life seems to have very poor standards since the experience was very different to other dating sites. Several replies that I received were very obviously out to get money which has never happened to me elsewhere. There are not many people who are interested in finding relationships and there does not seem to be as many active or genuine members compared to other dating sites.
I would not recommend this site.
Without any doubt this is one of the worst dating sites that I have tried - too many fakes and scammers. There is nothing particularly special or unique about it.

Would never recommend this site to anyone. It is purely a money making venture for them. They will lead you up the garden path without a care in the world and you won't know it until you have wasted your hard earned.

Full of dodgy replies to keep the "numbers" up. That are scammers, schemers and have no morals.

I tried to get my money back from them as I found the site terriable and way to much ladies that just want me to go to there site and buy there pictures.

The support desk just gave me but the terms and conditions say blah blah. I hate people that hide behind there terms and conditions when clearly there site is just bad and prefer to rip people off.

If you want your time wasted them lava life is the place for you.

I have only been on the site for about 3 days and it was nightmare and a complate waste of time.
Please save yourself some money and stay away from lava life.

Several years ago, I was bombarded with the advertisements on TV to join Lavalife for free, so I did out of interest. Immediately, I began receiving contact and it was a bit too fast paced for me. I was new to the site and trying to navigate my way around but people were already contacting me for a chat. It was a bit overwhelming.

I also found that I was being bombarded with people who just wanted a bit of naughty chat online or were looking to hook up for one night stands.

Not my scene, but it may be yours.
Fast, interactive site. Not to be taken seriously. Entertaining.
Too fast paced and probably orientated more to those who are after one night stands.

Ok for a general all round dating site, would not recommend if you are looking for a foreign bride, even though the site is advertised in google with Russian women looking for love.
