Is my H7R waterproof?

It depends on what you class as waterproof. It is rated IPX4, which basically means rainproof or weatherproof. Its probably not what most people would consider waterproof. A good torch should be at least IPX7 rated. Unfortunately, the gimmicky focus mechanism on a Led Lenser makes it impossible to waterproof to that standard and means it's buggered if you drop it in a puddle.
