Most brilliant television
This Smart TV is beyond our expectations. You are actually part of the action like 3D. The sound is fantastic and the colours out of this world. Only one problem.....I cannot prise my husband out of his chair.
Easy to set up and the mouse idea is terrific. If you are waiting to buy a TV get in now for the new model will be more expensive for a few years.

Best on the market, beautiful picture, aesthetically pleasing
I am really happy with the TV it is easily the best on the market, really easy to set up and use, excellent picture and sound quality and the most aesthetically pleasing I have ever seen, the future of TVs. The only problem is that there is 3D button on the remote when really it's not 3D capable, but this is really not a problem ;)

I am inlove with my tv
Pretty simple review - there is nothing I don't like about this TV. Fast, clear, good sound, aesthetically pleasing, webOS is awesome, smart remote is great. Even with the new technology coming out this TV is already ahead of the pack and will easily last me 5 + years.
PS Bought reconditioned of Grays online and got 5 years extended warranty. Very happy with the condition.

Never a better time to buy
Now in runout you won't find a better time to buy this TV. The design is modern sleek with an ultra slim panel and a small stable and attractive Stand which has a small footprint. You buy a TV for picture quality and this picture is easily the best in class of any 55inch models. The Sound is as good or better than anything else in the market. Just add a soundbase from the likes of Canton or Cambridge audio if you want ton'beef up' the sound. The OS is easy to use, and you get the highest wifi protocol for connecting to a home network ie 802.11'...Read more
ac' or there is an Ethernet cable if required. Ample HDMI, optical and you regular array of other connectors..... so you are not missing out to any competitors. Coming back to the picture quality it's unmatched compared to similar products from other manufacturers. TV viewing, and streaming are compatible with 4K which means you can stream 4 K content where available ie Netflix. Bluray is amazing DVD great and 4K UHD bluray I imagine would be spectular based on the sources I have viewed. The big selling point is the LG's HDR capability given it covers both current methods (HDR10 and Dolby vision) whereas other manufactures have opted for one or the other... so this TV is as future proof as you will get in a TV! Freeview plus, HDD recording it all here and as it is OLED the best available tech producing the best picture. The absolute succcessor to the old Pioneer Plasmas, which in the day were unrivalled. Buy now at a bargin price before they're gone. Don't pay more than $2850 if you do your researchSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Brilliant!
Switched to LG since it was quite noticeable for me that most of the hotels worldwide increasly use LG brand TVs. Picture quality is amazing. Our family does not watch TV very often, and it is a treat to sit and watch a movie on our OLED tv. Built-in speakers are alright but we also upgraded to external Sonos sound system. it has been mounted into wall, has enough ports for external devices, exceptionally pleased with the operating system and apps! LG OLED is a way to go!

A Great TV
I bought this TV from Harvey Norman and am very happy with it. When I visited their Brookvale store I was planning to buy a different TV the sale price of which had been significantly reduced. However, I decide to buy the LG TV (which was twice the price of the other TV) because of the better picture quality. The service at Harvey Norman was excellent and I am very happy with the product.

Wonderful TV
LG have a great reputation for most of their products but this 3D Oled TV is just something different. Excellent clarity and colour sharpness. Ultra dark back ground makes pictures just jump out at you.. The sound via the SONOS sound bar is out of this world. The $4500 price tag seems expensive but once you sit down and enjoy what it has to offer you will soon realize that you have a TV which is just simply a leap above the rest.

Great reliable tv
Happy with all the functions especially when using my indoor outdoor Bose system and Internet. The picture / graphics when playing music or games is as good as I've ever used. I get great sound when playing music to any of my speakers especially the out door speakers around the pool and outdoor entertainment area.

Right now, as good as TV gets!
Feed it properly, and this TV responds with magnificent picture quality! I don't use its internal speakers, and mainly view ABC live TV and content on DVD, BluRay & 4k BluRay using the equally superb Panasonic UB900 player. I have never seen a better picture than this combination manages on the Berliner Philharmoniker's recent Sibelius BluRay release. On live TV the picture quality is quite variable but then the ABC thinks 720p is High Definition. The smart remote is very usable and channel changing is near instantaneous. Normally I don't like LED TVs, much preferring my Pioneer Kura plasma, but this TV betters even the Kura.

LG OLED 55 inch curved screen television
Very happy, absolutely beautiful picture. A bit slow in putting programmes into the prog listings. 3D movies look better than in theatres. Black is really black with no hint of grey. Setting up was dead simple as is the programme management system. Hooked up easy to my wifi network and when viewing Netflix the low resolution of Netflix becomes really evident. 55 inch curved screen look great in our living room. There more than sufficient ports for all extras one may ever want to use.

Best ever
Great tv excellent colours and definition. Pitcure is that clear it looks 3D, hooked to both Foxtel & free to air both great. The PS4 games are fantastic. After Reading reviews on this and other TVs, looks like I have made a great choice. Now we need LG to sell 4K HD media player

Expensive but worth it
While we have had LCD TV's for some time, this is our first non-cheap one. The picture clarity is fantastic, so good that I am seeing detail in movies that I have never seen before. The black in movies such as Star Wars has such depth.
The built in speakers are ok, not fantastic as the TV is so thin there is not much space for decent speakers, but we run it through a sound bar and that makes up for the TV's reduced sound quality. This is a common thing with the thinner TVs.
The smart part of the TV is great, we can access internet channels, Stan & Netflix if we wish, as well as other internet apps. The TV plays well through the HDMI ports and connects easily to new devices.
All in all, thus far, 6 weeks in, we have no complaints.

Fantastic Picture
Our LG OLED55B6T-T 55" UHD 4K TV is connected through ethernet to the internet where we watch programs through Optus cable and free to air programs either via cable or directly off-air. Sound is through an optically connected LG Soundbar. The wifi connection also works well.
The picture from free to air or DVD is the best I can recall seeing. The OLED screen is visible over almost the entire 180 degree field and colour is superb. Sound is excellent through the soundbar and good through internal speakers.

ve and straight forward although using the GUIDE button on the remote control gives a full channel list, exiting from it is messy as EXIT/RETURN takes yo to another menu. A trivial complaint really. Setup for internet and connected devices has proved simple too. I was very impressed with the low power consumption. Out of curiosity I measured it and noted 0.3W on standby and approx 100W running. This is very economical for a 55" TV, much lower than similar sized LCD or plasma TV's. All in all a great TV.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The best TV we've ever owned
Over the years we've tried a few different brands of TV sets, from Loewe through Sony Bravia and Sony HD to a Panasonic 4K and, most recently, the LG OLED. While we love the definition of the Panasonic I have to say that the LG OLED is even better in terms of picture quality, which is crystal-clear, with great contrast. The unit looks very stylish too (ultra sleek and slim), unlike the Panasonic, which seems a little clunky by comparison. The LG's operating system is super-intuitive and easy to use – which is great for us as we're in our sixti...Read more
es and, while not exactly luddites, also not as au fait with emerging technology as younger generations. We've connected the unit to our hi-fi system, so the sound feeds through a DAC converter and amp to in-ceiling speakers, meaning there's no need for a sound bar. Also hooked up to the OLED are an Apple TV and a Blu-ray player, with HDMI ports to spare. In short, if you're looking for a TV that's top of the wozza in terms of beauty, performance and value for money in its particular price bracket, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find better.Similar opinion? Beautiful picture quality plus great features
This was our first OLED TV set and the first Smart TV set we've owned and, even though we were concerned about the size of the screen, it has fitted well into our living room and made a huge improvement to our TV viewing. Easy access to iView and similar services has meant we don't miss out on seeing programs because we've forgotten to set the recorder to save them.
Our new TV has also enabled us to display still photos and show our personal movies for the first time at a quality level that delights us. Connecting cameras and card readers to t...Read more

Best picture I've seen on any TV to date.
My husband almost murdered me when he discovered I'd put a deposit on a $3000 TV. Well yes that is slightly exaggerated but he wasn't at all happy about it.
Boxing day sales are fun when you have money to spare, or even if you don't have spare cash. I couldn't resist buying my dream TV while the prices we're down and not wanting to miss out I put a deposit on it without getting the OK from my husband who at the time was at work. Breaking the news wasn't going to be easy but he took it way better than I expected.
He went and picked it up a cou...Read more

Picture quality noticably better than my old TV
This is a great TV. The picture is clear and the colours are true. Set up at home was easy. Great price on sale at $2894
Browsing In the shop I was tempted by the next model up the line (OLED55E6T) - it has a classier screen and better sound. I decided to stick with the OLED55B6T because I wasn't convinced those enhancements were worth the extra $1000 in price, but the 'E6' model is worth considering too,
Very happy with my purchase !

Absolute perfection! Worth every cent!
The brilliance of this product is beyond astounding. I would highly recommend to everyone. It might have a hefty price tag. In saying that comparing it to other models you can see why it's got a massive price tag. The colours are immersive, the picture is perfect. It's everything you want in a TV and more, easy set up and use. Ultra 4K movies through a 4K player are perfect. If you want a high quality TV this LG is the go!

LG OLED 55B6T TV -flat-screen 2016 - great tech within reach
At first the price was the best bit with a 20% on-line ebay discount but now 3 months later the price is $400 cheaper-again and I feel less than enthusiastic about that. Image quality remains great. Comparison with other brand 4k tellys showed poor standard-definition image quality so the extra cost for a superior no upscale problem SD image was not that big a stretch. OLED setup experience great. Bluetooth great. Great screen. Great picture. Detail image calibration tools great. Stand is very nicely designed. Controller crapped out after drop...Read more
ping - my fault. Bought another $10 laughing. The 4k content on Netflix and Youtube is great 99% of everything to like. This is it. Ducks nuts. Can't expect better. The one year warranty is pretty ordinary - manufacturer could demonstrate more confidence with longer 5 year interval. I remain sceptical of the product durability - will it crap-out after 5 or so years like everything else? built-in obsolescence of everything I buy really annoys me and makes me wonder why I bother in the first place - not a happy or good consumer this end. How are people expected to retire? Overall, the OLED TV pretty bloody good considering, but lets see what happens when millions of consumers are repeatedly duped by manufacturers.Similar opinion?
