Great Sound but Unfortunately Did Not Last Long
The unit has embedded Harman Kardon sound system, which is great. The operating system is also okay, although it is using Web OS instead of the more common Android OS, which is quite limiting in relation to the choice of apps it can use.
The main problem is the screen did not last quite well. After just about a year, a vertical dead pixel (in aqua colour) line started to appear around the middle of the screen.
Luckily, even though it had not been an easy process, LG honoured the warranty and replaced the product, which sadly, after just about a...Read more

Disgusting
I will never ever buy another LG product ever again. I bought a brand new LG 4K tv 65SJ850T that cost me $3,300 what a waste of money!
I bought the TV July 2017 and I am covered for warranty till July 2018. A couple of months after purchase multiple purple lines were appearing and disappearing on the screen and the screen will over heat to a very hot temperature. In April 2018 my screen suddenly cracked on the inside and caused a big fat grey line in the middle of the tv, the little black crack was located where the screen would overheat to...Read more
very hot temperatures. I called LG customer service they sent out a service team to check out the tv and they had a quick look at it and said that it was not covered under warranty because we caused the damage and I have to pay $3000 to repair the tv. Why would I pay for a damage that I didn’t cause? I have never touched my tv and never came near it. This is the most disgusting company they will not own up to their faults. Be warned that you will buy a product from LG and they will NOT cover it under warranty if it suddenly starts acting up they will NOT cover it! It is the first and LAST product I will buy from LG. Now I am sitting here with a faulty $3,300 TV that should be put in the rubbish I will not get it repaired because I know it will get damaged again from LG’s poor manufacturing quality. DISGUSTING

Could be a great TV but...
The picture quality is good most of the time and the LG webos is quick. The magic remote is the best I've used.
But... TV suffers from the worse vertical banding I've SEEN. On any panning shot you can see grey lines all the way across the screen. I can't watch sports at all on this TV.
LG service is terrible and as long as the test picture looks OK, they don't want to know about it. I think they forget that TV has moving pictures.

A great TV with Great Features
I spent so long looking into what TV was going to be right for me. My main requirements were: solid brand with good support, great OS interface and ideal for watching sports. This TV checked all the boxes. The clarity is insane. The first 4k video we watched was Planet Earth II. The picture was so clear that the cat freaked out!
My favourite part is probably the one thing I was dreading - the magic remote! It make the WebOS interface so much easier to use than rival TVs. LG all the way for me!

Excellent 4k TV
Bought this TV as an upgrade for the living room (which previously had a 1080p panel). From the immediate user friendly setup, the experience has been superb. Picture quality is amazing (though obviously not an OLED) and the design of the unit itself is great. The Magic Remote puts other TV controls to shame and webOS has a plethora of apps. Only downside is the unit is region locked to the APAC region, meaning if you ever move to EMEA or the Americas you will have to "hack" the service menu in order to use it there.

Life's good
Bear in mind- I'm not an AV buff at all.
Against my better judgement I bought a cheap 60" LED smart TV. It was horrible and clunky. I hated it from day one, so I was stoked when a lightning storm killed it.
I decided to go back to LG and came across the 65" Super UHD 200Hz (65SJ850T).

TV unit is only 18 months old, picture is often black however the sound still works. We have to turn it on and off to rectify and it eventually works. Not good for the price. Would not recommend buying this model.
