I would have thought not much as the technology and models have changed significantly so the second hand market is very thin
I’d guess somewhere between $100/200.00 would be a reasonable price subject to condition and is it still in warranty often extended warranty purchased when bought new

You can’t. This has a single tv tuner so does not allow watching and recording different channels simultaneously

You will need to add an external Multi-tuner PVR to be able to record and watch at the same time

It has a timer. Turn it off when not using it?

It does have a screen saver. It cycles through pretty background images if left with no input.
