Read moreousing & one screw on the metal bar, reassemble after you fit the cord hook......then fit the lower 1/2 bars for the handles to the mower, the lower bars have a bend so fit the bars bending inwards, remember to fit the spring between the ratchets so the assembly will be > cam arm with bolt > into single lower bar > outer 1/2 plastic ratchet > spring > against inner plastic ratchet, turn the cam handle with bolt till firm but not too tight, ...repeat other side & align other lower bar up after fitting so both lower bars are the same angle, then fit the upper bar as per diagram, > dome head bolts with square block locator through holes of lower bars, while holding upper bar in place> washers onto bolts then > screw cam handles on (not too tight) then make sure you can lock the cam handles in place without too much pressure......his is opposite to the diagram but much easier.......
