Our 2 year old dishwasher rarely completes a full cycle, it keeps stopping mid-cycle full of water with unclean dishes. Is this problem fixable or has the machine had its day? This issue has been ongoing for several months now, and to be totally honest we’re over the appliance. Many thanks

Hi Ben,
It is difficult to determine the issue without seeing the machine. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can recommend a fix or if they think a technician should come out to have a look.

I live in Mandurah do I need to use salt in my machine?

Ariston
Anthony F.Ariston

Hi Colleen,
If you use tank or bore water, it is necessary to use dishwasher salt in the machine to keep the parts in good condition. If you are on tap water, then salt is not as important but can still be used to increase the efficiency of the wash.

Hi Tdalbs,
This error code could be an issue with an electronic component. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can send a technician out to have a look.

Our LFF is stuck on fault F01 - there is no leak and all seems to be ok with the drainage hose but it won’t stop trying to drain. The fault came on in the last 1 minute of the previous cycle. We have tried to flush with extra water but still not working. Any other suggestions?

Hi, my dishwasher flashes h20; I've read the thread on the h20 issue and have checked the suggestions; I have moved the dishwasher in the laundry area--the inlet hose is not bent; water pressure is appropriate; outlet house is not bent; inside filters are clean.Kindly please advise.

We have a new dishwasher LFF8M122 and when you turn it on it runs and time goes down to a point and then the time stays the same for hours and sounds like it is still washing. What do think the problem is?

Hi Michelle C

If your unit does not come up with any fault codes,
Then it could be your electronic module that is faulty .

Hi there, our three week old LFF 8M 132 dishwasher has been going great until today. It now only takes 18 to 20 minutes to do a 105 cycle. It starts normally and after a few minutes drops down to around 30 and few minutes later beeps and says and. Nothing is heating up and nothing is getting washed. There are no error codes, what could be wrong??
Cheers

Hi, I just bought a no frills salt from local supermarket.

Ariston
Anthony F.Ariston

Hi Peter, you only need to use salt if you have hard water i.e. water you cannot drink from the tap. Even if you have clean water, the salt indicator will still appear as Ariston dishwashers are manufactured in Europe where salt is often required. If you don't have hard water, we don't recommend using salt. For more information please call 1300 762 219. Kind regards, Ariston Team.

Hi Peter, you don't need salt as the Ariston representative said. Our water here in Australia is soft water. We've been using this Ariston dishwasher for more than a year and it's still in excellent condition. All the best.

As far as i know there is no way a general user can do this. There may be options to reprogram them but i suspect this would be expensive.

What to do ? My new dishwasher LFF8M122XAUS power button andstart/pause button flashing and it said F01...:( whats wrong? Whats that mean

This is the leak or flood code. Your dishwasher is either leaking or the float has moved or the sensor is faulty. Have a look at this site in the first instance for more clarity https://www.how-to-repair.com/help/hotpoint-ariston-dishwasher-error-codes-and-faults-diagnostic-fault-finding/ It doesn't tell you how to repair it as this is a little beyond the standard user. Just check you haven't moved it in a way to jam the float up. If you have you may be able to vibrate it back down, however if it hasn;t been moved you probably have a leak.

Hope this helps
