I bought this dishwasher as a replacement for my 12 year old Westinghouse. As a replacement Westinghouse wasn't immediately available I opted for this Turkish made Bosch. The machine emitted a foul, plastic/chemichal/fishy smell from the first time I used it. After trying dishwasher cleaners and
bi-carb/vinegar and running lots of hot cycles, I asked for a technician to check the machine. I should add that the machine has always cleaned the dishes perfectly. The technician checked the machine and agreed that it smelled bad, however he assured me that it would go away. It took about three months but he was right. I now love this machine.

How did I miss the endless reviews about the toxic stench coming from the dishwasher? I have had breathing trouble and an endless headache since installing it. We have tried all of the suggestions to address but it is still terrible. The dishwasher is basically unuseable. The stench permeates through the house. The layout inside and cleaning ability are great, but there is no way anyone should consider buying one due to the toxic smell.

I purchased my dishwasher earlier this month. Installation was a little tricky (the installation guide resembles an ikea assembly manual) and took longer than expected. The machine washes well and is very quiet. However, my machine came with the rinse aid door warped. I have contacted the Bosch support via email and telephone and am yet to hear from anyone. If anyone from Bosch is watching this page, please contact me.

I was so excited when I bought this dishwasher. I'd never had one before and I wanted the best. I'd always thought Bosch an excellent brand, and it is. BUT the nasty plasticy smell it emits when open simply won't go away.
I bought this Bosch Super Silence 46dB in December 2022. It's now March 2020, and the smell is just as bad as ever.

Good hard working dishwasher. Very quiet operation. Cleans dishes and glasses well. Started using the delay start option to run in off peak to save power costs and it is great.

Bosch is well known for it's brand but I used this website to decide whether or not to buy one and i'm glad I did. It is easy to use, easy function settings and you can't tell that it's on because it's relatively quiet. No complaints from me here!

I Have had this dishwasher since the start of the year i had a lg which lasted me about 6 years it was good and big inside until one of the components broke and i ended up buying a bosch dishwasher which i am very happy with i like that the racks are high and you can put plates in the bottom rack and it wont hit the water spray. also the vario speed which is good it cuts the time of the cycle in half and has amazing results!!
Overall i am happy with this dishwasher and would recommend it to others

Purchased a bosch dishwasher today anrac when we arrived home the back of our car had water all through it and the packaging of dishwasher all wet and leaking. Immediately called the store and told all Bosch dishwashers are tested before being shipped and all the same. This is great if you then empty the water back out. Ended up with foul smelling water through house after we thought it had finished leaking. Install instructions not in English and ended up with leftover parts. Not a good experience.

Waste water pump broken only after 7 months upon purchase. Not happy with the quality of the product and feel I have been ripped off. There is no option to return the product, instead I have to wait for a repairer to come out and I have no idea when that will be, as the information provided was very ambiguous.

Had this for nearly 2 years. Sick of the error message if even the smallest bit of food gets past the filter.
I must get the error message at least once a month, then I have to reach into the filthy dishwasher water to look for any food stuck in there. There's never anything substantial. Our old dishwasher, different brand, could handle anything you threw at it. We had it for 7 years and never had anything like the number of error messages we get with the Bosch.

The first time I used this it was so quiet I didn't think it was running. I have to see the red light is on to know that it is running. It cleans well not over the top but I have no complaints . The best thing is how quiet it is.

I bought this for my rental property...it consumes less water therefore it will help me to save money on my rental income the long term...i haven't used it yet but the extensive warranty gives me piece of mind...

Super quiet dishwasher. Washes well and cleans first time. Great value for money. Buying with confidence from a reliable company. Dishwasher is well made and the s/s is great. Easy to clean and no rinsing items before hand. Great product.

After spending over $1000 each time I needed to replace my dishwasher, I thought I would get on here and give you all a great tip.
This is just the greatest! Family of 6 and I can honestly say that I have only ever used the Quick cycle and EVERYTHING cleans perfectly!
I also only use the cheap Shine tablets from Woolworths, so I’m a bit excited about this purchase! Hope this review saves you all from wasting more big dollars on yet another appliance that fails to perform! Nothing worse!
