This is the leak or flood code. Your dishwasher is either leaking or the float has moved or the sensor is faulty. Have a look at this site in the first instance for more clarity https://www.how-to-repair.com/help/hotpoint-ariston-dishwasher-error-codes-and-faults-diagnostic-fault-finding/ It doesn't tell you how to repair it as this is a little beyond the standard user. Just check you haven't moved it in a way to jam the float up. If you have you may be able to vibrate it back down, however if it hasn;t been moved you probably have a leak.
Hope this helps
Thank you..i got it :D... the hose at back come off lol...and yes theres leaking underneath =_=. its all fix now..yay machine is working...wohooooo!!!

We bought an Ariston dishwasher last Monday an LFF8M132. It was delivered and installed on Tuesday but the installer did not know how to operate it so we were not given a run through of any procedures. Tried by following the instructions to do a cycle but no luck. I have a couple of questions please. There is no salt funnel in the pack but will this be an issue as I don't think we are in a hard water area (SW Sydney). Is there some sequence to starting the machine for the first time? Does it have to have dishes in it to get started? It sounds to me as though there is no water coming into the machine and there is a little red tap flashes on the display panel. We have checked that the hose connection is connected to a tap that is turned on. Could the installer have confused the inlet and outlet hose? What else would cause no water to flow into the machine? The installer cannot come back until Friday but as he does not know how to operate the machine, that may not be of any assistance.

Hi Jan, thanks for your question. Firstly, when purchasing appliances you should buy from a retailer who does installations and who knows how the product operates.
- Salt is not required in Australia unless you are located in the country and using bore water.
- To start machine the first time, no dishes. Check inlet hose is connected to cold tap and outlet hose to spigot on the drain pipe usually under the kitchen sink. (If this dishwasher is replacing an old one disregard this, but on a new install, check that the spigot has been drilled out)
- Pull the dishwasher away from the wall & check there are no kinks in either hose.
- The inlet & outlet hoses cannot be connected the wrong way.
- If having done these checks and the dishwasher does not start, turn the d/w off.
- Turn off the tap & disconnect the inlet hose. Grab a bucket and turn the tap on and half fill the bucket. If the tap works, then ring the retailer & request a new Dishwasher as this one must have a major fault.
If you have any more issues, I recommend calling 1300 762 219 and following the prompts to our technical department.
Best wishes, Ariston Brand.
hello Ariston... I bought the dishwasher from Harvey Norman in Campbelltown so was happy it was a reliable supplier and the installation was done by their regular installer. He will be back again tomorrow (Friday) so will show him your response. He did come back yesterday but did not contact us to let us know he was coming and consequently we were not home but did arrive 12 minutes after he left. A phone call would have saved all of us some angst! Must say I would expect the regular installer would know the products he installs and if he doesn't, then find out about them. I may or may not be back after tomorrow's visit. Thank you for your assistance.

For the normal cycle number 1, what is the temperature of operation? Is it 50 degrees or more?
And why would it not clean the bowls and not dissolve the dishwasher tablet completely? The machine is 2 days old.

Dear Joany, what type of tablets are you using? The temperature is displayed on the buttons on your machine, thank you Ariston brand.

Hi
We just baught a LFF8M122 dishwasher. We are unable to adjust the water hardness level . The manual says to adjust using it ECO button . We cant find an ECO button . Please advise.

Hi there, I was just reading through the manual and it says to use refined salt to help with the water hardness, you can Add the salt at the bottom of the dishwasher, you just have to make sure it's the proper salt for dishwasher use (not table salt) otherwise you could call customer service for more advice 1300 815 589
Thanks Tam . I think I should call the customer care . the water is not hard here …I just want to know how to use the adjustment menu .
Anthony F.Ariston
Dear Kirti, thank you for your question, the only way to adjust the hardness of the water is to use salt, & the Eco button is only on select models. If your not sure, at this stage the best number to call is our customer service team on 1300 762 219, thank you Ariston.

The instruction manual advises to ensure salt is added before first operating the unit but all the forums say salt is not needed because we have soft water in Australia - can the salt container remain empty or not?
3 answers
I have not once added salt to the machine and have never even opened the lid where the salt goes, I have not had a problem with the machine at all. I think the salt is a drying aid? (Don't quote me on that) I use the usual supermarket rinse aid and open the door a little to make sure it all dries properly.
thanks very much - that seems consistent with what other forums say.. cheers

Dear Cudy's thanks for your question, it varys per machine and per location in Australia, we advise you call our team here so we can advise you 1300 762 219, thank you Ariston team.

Hi, Aristons customer service number is 1300762219
Hi, I think they told me it was because the salt was empty, however I'd never added salt as our water isn't hard. I recommend ringing their customer service.
I've rung them and get different answers each time. Time for a replacement I think!

Wow, that's cool! Sadly, These didn't come with my dishwasher. Good luck :-) That 3rd drawer looks VERY useful.
Strange hey it shows them on the Ariston page on the clip?

Officially - no idea. It is very quiet. We live in a rural area (no traffic etc) and can not hear it running at night time from the bedroom (it's a small 3 bedroom house).
