Happy
Have owned it for nearly 3 years, I work it pretty hard once a month plus easily / moderate several times a year.
Reasonably quiet and plenty of blow. Starts easily, idles well and accelerates as required.
Reasonably light and able to shorten the blower tube which make it easy to clean out gutters ( motor and 12 inches of blower pipe) and other tight spots.
Only problem I've had was the kill switch failed so i could not start it - I rebuilt the kill switch and ok. Kill switch is flimsy and the contact terminals separated and the plastic switch would not slide far enough to disengage the engine stop position. My blower was made in Japan. Recommend it.
Reliable, reasonably priced and works well
Kill switch flimsy and failed

Top unit
I am laid up at the moment and my wife handles it easily. She uses it daily and has no trouble starting and using it. Quiet enough to not trouble the neighbours. Fuel usage seems to be efficient. Good unit we would recommend it to anyone. Price was reasonable in comparison to others.
Easy to start and light enough to be very managable.

Brilliant little machine
Have owned for not a very long time, but all the use i have gotten out of it has been very impressive. Cheap, quiet and good quality (Japanese makita not Chinese) it is also very light and fuel efficient for doing bigger tasks. I have no complaints and certainly does not lack power, Perfect blower for anyone - and that's coming from a Stihl man
Quiet, lightweight, inexpensive, Japanese not Chinese, economical, user friendly

Good
In the short time i have owned it i have done a lot of work with it and its light weight design, easy use (my kids can and do use this) i find it to be an exelent well made product as you would expect from makita. In terms of value and quality its the best blower i have ever owned. I would have no hesitation in recomending this makita blower to anyone from profesional to small home owner and the price will be apealing to both. I have no doubt in years to come i will still be using this blower for both home and work.
the very first thing i liked...Read more

Also think this is a good little machine, but for some reason mine doesn't seem to have the air speed as strong as it should be?? Engine runs fine, starts easy.
