Hi jenny. Yes, it's a pita. Stick with it and you will get a result. But it doesn't need to be this hard. Changes are made for changes sake or because someone is bored and needs to find something to do. Problem is, these brainstorms impact negatively on customer service. We work in the front line and work hard for our money. Good luck.

When I signed up for the lease I was told that I don’t have to pay for anything ie fuel, rego, insurance etc, but it looks like I have to pay for everything upfront and then claim later, why? I don’t have the money because it has already been deducted from my pay. Is this how this Maxxia thing work? If so then I was deceived, can I cancel?

what happens to any funds left after March 31

1 answer
Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Wayne,
Funds left on your package at the end of the FBT year on the 31st of March will roll over to the next FBT year automatically.
If you have a salary packaging wallet, funds that roll over will contribute towards the following year’s cap as well.

What Mechanical companies are affiliated with Maxxia so I don’t have to pay up front for any services

Geoff K

To my knowledge there are no affiliated companies. The car you buy will be serviced by the dealer, or dealer network, that the car was purchased from so that all billing is part of the Maxxia lease.

Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Debra,
Here at Maxxia we have a dedicated maintenance team that handles all scheduled maintenance. To organise for your servicing to be paid directly from your novated leasing account you merely need to take your vehicle into any licensed mechanic with an ABN and advise that that you have a vehicle under a novated lease with Maxxia. The mechanic will then need to contact us on 1300 123 123 and speak to our team before the work is performed.

Hi! Can I novated lease a second hand car? And if Im buying from someone not from a dealer how can Maxxia help me out with the purchase. Thank you!

2 answers

Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your question! You can absolutely have a novated lease for a second hand vehicle.
Generally speaking a second hand vehicle needs to be less than 12 years old at the end of the lease period and of a value of at least $8000.00. If you have already found a vehicle for private sale our Leasing Consultants can help you organise the finance and place the vehicle under novation.
One of our leasing consultants would be more than happy to help you and you can reach them on 1300 123 123.
Hope this helps!

Mark - make sure you do your homework before buying second hand via novated lease..you'll need tyres sooner..mechanical repairs and servicing most likely sooner than if you purchased brand new

What is the percentage of the fleet discount the customer is entitled to? Is it different for each car? What is a rough estimate in that case. Thank you

Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Dear Andrew,
Thank you for your great question. To be honest there are a lot of variables at play with a novated lease. These include the type of car and also on your employer. If you would like more information, please call us on 1300 123 123 and we would be happy to transfer you through to a specialist who can go through this with you.

I hope this helps!

Andrew B

Thanks for the reply, I'd like the best answer to be posted here so others can understand the fleet discount can be 10% to 15% off the car price. Unfortunately if you choose a car that is rare or limited edition you can be faced with a discount as low as 1.5% which would not make the lease worthwhile. Make sure you understand the fleet discount and interest rate. Hopefully that can clear things up for people reading this post.

Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Andrew,
Fleet pricing is provided by manufacturers, and varies by make, model, and variant. In many cases Maxxia can access fleet pricing and additional discount negotiated directly with the manufacturer, as well as dealer discount. As these discounts and bonuses vary across the wide range of new cars available it is always best to discuss with one of our leasing consultants.
Maxxia also has access to various corporate programs through manufacturers that can offer fixed delivery costs, scheduled services packages and other benefits. These programs are not offered by all manufacturers, so it is always best discussing this with a Maxxia leasing consultant to see what options are available to you.
Thanks and regards,
Gareth

Do you insure cars?

1 answer
Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Tali,

Thanks for your enquiry.

Maxxia provides novated leases through a customers employer depending on the employers available benefits. Through the lease we can source car insurance with a preferred 3rd party provider however we do not provide car insurance as a stand alone product.

I’ve been trying to contact your agents on my payout and have had no response. I both paid the lease out and contact my rep and have heard nothing. Nothing about the bank receiving payment. Nothing from Maxxia regarding terminating the insurance. Not a peep. This is very disappointing.

Good morning Al,

Thank you for your enquiry.

When it comes to the payout of a lease, as these funds are going to the financier and not Maxxia, we are not able to confirm receipt of any funds attributed to your payout. In saying that I am happy to look into your Maxxia account further to determine if we've received any request to terminate your lease. Are you able to provide the following details for me?

Full Name:
Employer:
Date of Birth:
Mobile number:

I am not sure why there is no residual value indication on the statements or online account when novated leasing? That would make it transparent so that the customers would be aware of at least an approximate buy out figure.

1 answer
Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hi Sri,
Thank you for your question. There are a few places where a customer is able to see what the residual amount for their vehicle will be. This amount is stated on the novated lease proposal where the vehicle details are listed and on the lease schedule provided by the financier. A customer would also be able to see this amount by logging onto their Maxxia phone app and looking at the section 'Lease Details'.
Thanks and regards,
Gareth

How do I avoid the extra charges if I choose to pay my car out in full. I've only just recently started with Maxxia and been informed my bank are hesitant to provide me with a home loan until I have the Maxxia Lease removed.... payed out.

1 answer
Maxxia
Customer S.Maxxia

Hello Waz,

Thank you for your enquiry.

There are no extra charges applied by Maxxia should you choose to pay out your lease in full. In saying that, please be aware the payout figure for the vehicle my be higher than anticipated. The reason for this is the payout figure is made up of the total amount of remaining lease payments expected + the residual amount owing at the end of the lease.
For example, if a customer decides to payout a 5 year lease after 13 months, then the payout figure will be made up of the remaining 47 monthly lease payments and the residual amount owing at the end of the 5 year lease.

I hope this information is useful for you however if you do have any further questions, please contact us on 1300 123 123.

Thanks and regards,
Gareth
