I used to love this mascara, it was reliable until I removed it… but not anymore.
I remained loyal to Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara over years of everyday wear in all weather, showers of rain, buckets of tears, tons of sweat and miles of swims, this mascara never let me down… until now.
What happened Maybelline? Did you change the formula?
A recent purchase had me shocked at the clumping and flaking off to almost non existence in the shower.
And if I happened to cry, tiny chunks of mascara chips would float around in my eyes irr
Poorly made all round.
The mascara itself is not even slightly waterproof. Just the smallest amount of water/tears make it run. The opening of the tube is supposed to be designed to remove excess product, however the opening is much too large to remove an acceptable amount, leaving you with clumps of mascara on the wand that need to be wiped off before applying.

Smudge a lot
Despite waterproof claim, they smudge so bad within first few hours. Not as bad as another mascara that was so bad, but still a waste of money. I bought it because I read somewhere it was listed as non smudge mascara but that list is so wrong. Otherwise I don't mind the result, which is a natural look.
