Bought from 99 Bikes back in 2012 it's given me no trouble at all on the trails on Mt Coot-tha here in Brisbane. My old boyfriend had one and recommended I get one too. I'm pleased I did, cos 5 years later and it's still going strong.

I second that. This is a very race focussed XC hardtail at an incredibly good price. Had mine for 6yrs and still love it to bits. Ride it hard every week and have done heaps of races on it. The alloy frame is lighter than most of the carbon XC hardtails. WARNING, this is a whippy, responsive, quick bike, with narrow bars and small wheels - be prepared for fun! It's like riding a roadie! It's a capable descender if you can ride ok, but if you're looking for something to smash big down hills and big drops... look elsewhere this bike is built for pedalling.

Exceptional bike, lite, fast and very responsive. Plenty of deals out there, my 2011 Merida Matts Lite 1000-D was nearly half the retail price direct from the dealer. The dealer was exceptinal too!
