Great washing results
Produces a great cleaning result even when fully loaded. The cutlery tray is a fantastic idea as opposed to other dishwashers cutlery baskets, it ensures each item is cleaned and no food residue left. Layout is practical with sufficient spacing provided for large, medium and small items. Would definitely recommend this model.

was hesitant to spend the dollars but definately no regrets
I was sceptical to pay such an amount, but needed an integrated to fit with our kitchen. The rep talked me into the cutlery tray, which I was also undecided on. We are 100% satisfied with the dishwasher, love the cutlery tray as it saves a lot of space for more dishes. It washes extremely well and cant fault the product. It has a long warranty and the staff stand by their products and guarantee them.

My dishes have never been this clean
I have had 4 dishwashers in the last 17 years. Dishlex, Blanco, Smeg and now this one. After taking delivery of 2 Smeg machines and having to return them both to Harvey Norman due to issues with the water pump both times we decided to get a Miele instead. I have only had it for just over a week but I am very happy. The dishes come out dry, except for some of the plastic ware. The cutlery is clean and free of water spots and has never sparkled like it does now. The machine is so quiet that I sometimes check to see if it is even on. I love...Read more
that the settings are very simple and easy to use. The basket configuration is great. It has been well thought out and there is space for large platters and pots go in nicely. Somehow we are able to fit much more in than in our previous dishwashers. The only issue we have is with the delivery of the machine. A courier company was used to make delivery and we now have a nice gouge out of our polished floor boards as the 64kg machine comes on a wooden pallet and the delivery man chose to push it along the wooden floor to move it. Still awaiting a response from Miele about this issue.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Keeps on giving
I recently wrote a review praising Miele dishwashers, I'd had the same machine for 14 years it still worked a dream, my daughter purchased a Asco and it wasn't so good, cloudy glasses etc. I have moved home and have had to purchase a new Miele and have not been disappointed, dishes clean glasses crystal clear, I use the 3 in one tablets clean the machine regularly. My money has been well spent, I do still have to use a tea towel on some things but that is a small price to pay for a quality product.

Best investment ever!
for the first time in my life I decided to purchase a dishwasher. After extensive research I purchased a Miele freestanding dishwasher. I absolutely love it! It cleans everything perfectly, is super quiet and has lots of washing options to choose from. So easy to use! I don't know how I managed without a dishwasher beforehand! 10 out of 10!

Really quiet and a great clean
****very good machine**** I luv this dishwasher. My favourite feature is the quietness of it. I have open plan living/kitchen. The only way you know it is washing is when the water drains down the sink. Was dear by comparison to the others but having had dishlex machines for many years, am happy with the change over. Installation manual is picture only with no helpful text so be careful to review the installation map carefully prior to beginning installation. ****very good machine****

Miele - worth paying more
Always loved Miele appliances. Had a F&P dishwasher before, which was pretty loud and noisy, also the arrangement for the dishes did not make me happy. The Miele is very quiet, you can watch TV without being disturbed.
Downside is the price tag, but you get what you pay for. Also delivery service is excellent and post market service as well (speaking for other Miele appliances).

My go to appliance.
No need to rinse your dishes. Fantastic cutlery tray so totally clean utensils. Can't fault it. Fairly quiet. Good energy rating. Can use any powder. A range of settings from sensor to pots ans pans at 70 degrees. Wouldn't buy any other brand. No problems at all. AAA+. Best one.

What was I doing before
Perfect. Cleans everything coffee cups that had been stained for 20 years plus, now spotless. Roast trays come out spotless as long as it's on the pots and pans setting, no preseason God scrubbing required. Quiet, our TV 6 metres away and it doesn't bother us to watch it while th machine is going. easy to use. One breakdown covered by waranty, because we'd used the wrong soap.

Very good if you like that kind of thing.
Miele, what can I say, it's German, its expensive, its quiet, its economical and it works well.
I'm old school, I wash dishes by hand to the frustration of my daughter. "You've got it use it." I have never even loaded it, however when it is used the results are pretty amazing, especially glassware. The silence is unbelievable.

I only recommend Miele
Miele is the best Dishwasher. It is German Made to last. I have had a few over the years and I can not fault them Also Miele service is fantastic. The machine is reasonably quiet. I bought the entry level and it cleans well, has an excellent energy rating. No complaints. Never buy Bosch.

Excellent Dishwasher
This freestanding unit does a great job of cleaning the dishes and all else that is put in it. I use off peak electricty to run the unit and use the hottest setting as well. The unit has stayed very clean no smells at all. The price was reasonable and easy to install and the stainless finish just perfect in the modern kitchen.

Miele would not honour warranty due to German cockroach droppings
Previous model lasted 10 years, followed by another model which lasted 3 but this replacement still under warranty has lasted 5 months with an F24 error. German Cockroach droppings found on electrical board is considered 'vermin' and damage caused due to 'vermin' infestation is not covered by warranty. When asked for a legal definition of 'vermin' it could not be provided. You think the German engineers would have designed a machine that could deal with some German cockroach droppings. Cockroaches are drawn to the warmth of electronics. First d...Read more
igital machine lasted 10 years, in the same spot as this one that lasted 5 months. I'd hazard a bet that some cockies got warm in that one as well. BOth the 10 year and 3 year machines died due to a malfunctioning power point so not cockroach-related. To top it off it took 6 days for the technicians to turn up due to a technical error where the job was not communicated to the technician. When they turned up they dismissed the machine as not being covered by warranty after seeing the droppings. Yet as soon as you call Miele they send through a survey to rate their performance, seriously? Too expensive to fix, so told to buy a new one by Miele technician. Will not purchase Miele products ever again due to them not honouring warranty but moreover this need to continually promote their products and service when not actually providing service. Maybe they could define 'service' along with 'vermin' in their manuals so consumers have it on record.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The top drawer makes all the difference
I thought long and hard before purchasing this dishwasher as I was on a tight budget and wanted a no nonsense hard working and effective dishwasher. The defining factor that set this dishwasher apart for me was the fact that it has a third shelf for cutlery at the very top of the machine. At first I was unsure as to whether this was a plus or a minus as I am used to just throwing the cutlery into the basket in the bottom drawer. This option takes a bit more effort when loading the dishwasher. Now that I have had the dishwasher for a few mon...Read more
ths, I can say that it is an outstanding product that is incomparable to others in its price bracket. Yes, it takes a bit of time to get used to lining the cutlery up in straight lines, but this is well worth the effort. When unpacking the dishwasher, you can neatly gather up the cutlery and it is all organized and spotlessly clean. The other important advantage of this is that the design of the large drawer at the bottom is completely different as it no longer has to fit in the cutlery basket. This means that there is so much room for dinner plates. In practical terms, I can fill this dishwasher with almost double the number of dishes compared to my old washer. I also like the digital display on the front which tells me exactly how many minutes left until the end of the cycle. Highly recommend this machine.Similar opinion? Wish is hadn't seen it
At first I loved it but after 3 months it broke down. Then to top it off had the run around about having it fix or replaced as I want. The Miele staff were nice on the phone but there was no follow up u til I emailed them now maybe something will be done. I had a Bosch before this which was wonderful but when replacing it was convinced Miele was the best and would last for 10 years or more mine didn't even last a 1/4 of a year. Very disappointed and would think twice before buying Miele

Very Very Good
This unit cleans very well it dries too, plastic bowls, etc stay a bit wet though, the draws stack well and the cutlery draw is a nice touch that now seems essential, it even has a water softener that needs to be topped up with salt occasionally, this may be why it cleans better. Setting it up was a pleasant change, you manually adjust the front feet as normal then when in place the rear feet adjust by two screws in the front, excellent designing there is also a door tension adjustment in the front too. A very well engineered unit.

Why did I wait so long to replace my old, broken down dishwasher
dishes are so clean, I am surprised we didnt all die of poisoning from "old septic" as the dishes were definetly not clean as we can now see
dishes are dry on cycle completion, not like "old spent wet wally"
this dishwasher is so quiet I have to check that I have turned it on, not like "old locomotive" we had to listen to
favourite features - cleanliness, quietness, ease of operation, easy cleaning filter, sleek, modern appearance, adjustable shelving
love doing the dishes now, even the unpacking

Terrible...really expensive Junk!
Paid around $2500 for machine and 5 year extended warranty, front panel was replaced 3 times due to rust (stainless steel???)...our SMEG products have not rusted! Then the machine broke down 2 weeks out of warranty all in all about $500.00 per year to own a dishwasher!! Will never touch Miele again our dishwasher was junk!

Best Dishwasher I have Owned
Absolutely love this Dishwasher. First of all it fits Everything. 3 Shelves all thoughtfully set out so you can pretty much stack it exactly as you like. Very quiet while operating. We use the Turbo Sensor wash program and it cleans a dirty load in about 1:40mins. Does a fantastic job of cleaning even the dirtiest pots and baked on food. Its very rare I have to rewash anything. This is my 4th Dishwasher and first Miele. Definately worth the extra money for a quality Machine.
Downfall is no Rinse & Hold Option. Could do with a interior light to finish it off

The only things that don't dry with ours is the top of cups if they have a well in the base. Plastic as well but that's usual in all of them.
top of our mugs don't dry either if they have a slight lip. Ditto the plastic comment as it depends on the type of platic, the harder the plastic the better it dries
We have just bought one and its the same, our 10 year old cheaper dishwasher dried better. Everything is wet even after leaving it overnight and we have to hand dry everything. Has anyone else had a solution?

Does this model require both hot and cold water connection
1 answer
Miele representativeMiele
Hi,
Thank you for your question. The Operating Manual for this dishwasher model states: "The dishwasher may be connected to a cold or hot water supply, max. 60c. We would only recommend connection to hot water supply if it is economical. i.e a solar powered supply. When connected to a hot water supply, all programmes will be carried out with hot water." I hope this helps answer your question.
Kind Regards
Joel
