Great blower - 90% of the power of a petrol blower. Can clean gutters with it.
This is great blower. I had the Milwaukee Workshop Blower for a few years for cleaning off the paths around the house, it was a good blower. The Fuel Blower is so much more powerful. At the tool shop in Brisbane I tested the Ego blower and the Fuel Blower side by side. With both blowers at full power I thought the Milwaukee Fuel was slightly more powerful than the Ego. The Ego was more powerful when pressing the "turbo" button for sure, but at normal operation the Milwaukee Fuel blew more air. The Milwaukee with a 12ah High OutPut battery...Read more
was lighter to hold and swing around than the Ego with a 2.5ah battery. The Ego has heavy batteries. Our house is about 30m x 7m, with concrete paths all around. With a 4ah battery I could blow all the paths with about 1 LED left on the battery. I bought a 6ah High Output battery I can blow all the paths, the porch along the front of the house, and get up on the roof and blow all the gutters... and the battery will only drop 1 bar. The 6ah High Output battery does put out more power than a 5ah battery. We are on tank water only so need to regularly blow out the gutters around the house. The Milwaukee Workshop Blower wasn't powerful enough to blow the leaves out so I used a petrol blower for years. The Milwaukee Fuel Blower is almost as powerful as the old petrol blower, and can easily clear dry and wet leaves, sticks, dirt and pools of water out of the gutters. It's so much better just pressing a button on the Milwaukee Fuel blower, compared to mixing two stroke and having it drip around the place. The petrol blower is more powerful (not by a big margin), but having a battery blower is the way to go for me.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
