Terrible!!!
Terrible customer support!!! There is a problem with the transaction and only answer I'm getting last 14 days is to wait 24h and someone will contact me. No explanation whatsoever!!! Even after canceling transaction they are still keeping my money.
This has been the most perfect way of transferring the money
Yesterday I sent a money gram transfer at my local Seven Eleven store and everything went well. I phoned them earlier this morning and asked them if it had be delivered transferred and I was told that it was successfully delivered and just now I received an email as well giving me all the necessary information on the completed transfer. At all times the people that I spoke to were very considerate and helpful in giving me the information that I was asking for.

No way to collect money
No way to collect money in Perth Australia which is not stated on their website. Poor customer service and frustrated business owners whose details are listed as collection sites - one said to me he’s tried to get his details taken down but “Melbourne controls this and they don’t respond”

Money Gram seems to have gone thru a transition of sorts from other years.The layout of screen is easier to use .I aways thought Money Gram was way too expensive.
terrible service
I used this service a few times before. I was trying to send the money $10,000 using the same details as usual, but it has refused for some reason this time. They said that it will be refunded within ten working days. Just terrible.
Brilliant service
This is the most efficient service because it is available to the recipient immediately, and the fee is the lowest in Australia. I would recommend this service to all my friends, and the recipients are extremely satisfied. Other methods of sending money overseas cannot compare with Moneygram's service costwise and efficiency.
Terrible service
Sent money first time through this doggy compney three weeks ago. The receiver could not get the money as they say it is not available for more than a week. I called them to check and they said money is there. The receiver still could not find the money after checking all the locations.
I canceled my transfer online. Recieved reply that It will be done in 24hours. Three days now still no response. Called them again and now they want the reciever to call them so they can cancel the transaction.
Very rude people on phone. I think they just want to hold the money as long possible so they can make some mark up on it.
Minus 5 star. Will not recomand them. Stay away. Fraudulent business.

Don't use these people
Recieved some birthday money for my kids, checked their website and was given a location near me to pick it up. Go there to be told they haven't received money there for at least 6 months. If they can't leave an up to date website then why trust them with your money?
The worst experience ever.
None of their so-called agents could deliver the money that was sent. Not only that they could not deliver what they promise but they are so rude, and not helpful at all.
It should say on your website that the wait to get the money is at least two day, so the "bosses" can go and get the money.
Can't receive money
There is no longer anywhere to collect money in Perth. Moneygram website still shows all 7-Elevens but most can only send not receive, or neither. Various other locations also listed on the Moneygram website also are no longer available. Zero help from online support so I've wasted almost a day driving around. Hopeless. Avoid.

not any of the seven locations listed on the website knew what i was talking about when i mentioned money gram????
sent a email and 3 weeks later got a reply but haven’t addressed any of my concerns .all they have done is palmed the question off by going to your stupid non informative website that is incorrect!!!
we have since gone back to the original deposit in the UK and withdrawn.
Hopefully you will be out of business soon because your service of dealing with complaints is appalling.

MoneyGram Location Update.
For the past few weeks your team have put me on a mad goose chase around Sydney looking for a store that is open and still a valid Money Gram partner - you've had me driving all over town, paying for parking and tolls and needing to taking time off work to go to these 'partner sites' that either are closed or no longer in partnership with you. Can someone respond to my email? To me this is becoming scam like and I recommend that no one use this scam of a service.

Cancelling or amending transactions takes forever and their custormer support never responded to my questions. Over 5 days to be refunded!!
Worldremit is better in terms of effectiveness. Takes less than an hour to amend receipient details.

7/11 doesnt support receiving money. I have been stranded for hours without any support. Without even knowing where to call. There is 0 customer service. Very few places to draw money out in australia. Better pay a bit more to use any other service. Such a primitive system. There are better platforms.

First time to do transaction in machine as self service and its great, find it easy and quick for my recipient to receive the money, more power and long live money gram.

I've used money gram at 7eleven for awhile now and it's easy to access and enter your details. I use the money gram to transfer to Western Samoa. No problems at all. I receive a text and email to confirm the recipient has received it.
Impossible to receive transfer in Perth
It’s now impossible to receive a moneygram transfer in perth, australia, and money gram has wasted my time and money. I was referred to seven-eleven, I went there to be told they don’t do receiving. Then I called moneygram directly and was referred to United Petroleum Mt Lawley, I traveled there to be told that they don’t deal with moneygram at all, and haven’t done so for at least six months! I downloaded the app and searched for any other places - found Abdiaziz Money Transfer in Mirrabooka, I called them but the number is disconnected. There are no other options in Western Australia! Moneygram is impossible, and has wasted far too much of my time, and I still haven’t received the money that was transferred to me!
I wish I could give a "zero" star review
First transfer and keep getting " Error occurred while validating your payment". Tried different cards both debit and credit, none of them work. The worst experience. Online chat doesn't work either, so getting absolutely no help.
Very very very bad and stealing money transaction when asked to give back
Shameful company, I could not even receive money that have been transferred to me and on top of it they stole the money fees transfer when asked to give back the money and not send it any more. Stealing transfer fees without even receiving the money very very bad.

My sister sent me money from Canada and we are unable to find a place that gives in Melbourne. They all said they stopped using money gram due to the difficulty in retrieving the money with money gram. Now trying to get our money back…. Stay away from money gram!!!!

MoneyGram is so easy and convenient to send money abroad just register and go to a 7eleven store you will need ID,that's how easy it is,have a go you will not be disappointed
User beware!
Urgent transaction cancelled due to their incompetent service what is the purpose of moneygram if you don't mitigate the different risks! If both sender and receiver confirms the correct details why is it still cancelled?! Your systems can't cope thats why easier to provide hopeless service!! Don't even deserve the one star!!
No cash collection in Australia
They have not updated their website to show places to collect money. It appears their are a number of sites, and when I emailed, they told me their are none and to refer to the website.
No way to collect to cash in Australia
Moneygram have taken money from my 89 year old father in the UK for me to collect in Australia. Moneygram no longer have anywhere for you to actually collect money seen as their relationship with 7-11 and United Petroleum have ceased. My father tried to go back to retrieve the money but was given a number to call which is incredibly difficult for him. I have called them but they utterly useless and can't offer a solution. Over 1 month now and they still have over $1000 cash.
Took too long for the recipient to receive the money.
I sent money to the Philippines on July 13, 2021 and it's July 21 now and the status is still on the way. Chatted with one of the agents and did not do any help. Pathetic and unacceptable service for a company dealing with remittances.
Excellent, but needs updates
I attended the kiosk as I do, and got my piece of paper to be able to take to the cashier to make my final transaction. This is the super simple and great service.
I could not believe when as required to show ID that my Digital licence was not acceptable!!
In this day and age the technology is very lacking .
Problem after problem after problem.
Following an unsuccessful attempt online, I was advised by MoneyGram that I needed to use the kiosk. The nearest one was 6 1/2 hours drive. This meant a two day trip. The first kiosk had an unusable screen although the Help service was very helpful and eventually I was able to lodge the transaction. The next day I sought to do another transaction. One 7/11 no longer participated and the other kiosk refused the transaction and money gram then closed my account. Could not get through to help.

They will not return you money straight away but they will take it just as quick the are the worst company to deal with they don’t have any workers who speak proper English all Indian telemarketers

They will transfer less then what they commit to
I booked a transfer using moneygram and got a confirmation that a certain amount will be transferred. When the transfer was completed the amount was much lesser. I raised multiple complaints but the standard response was that the transaction has been completed and there is nothing to look into. I had explained the issue multiple times but nobody from moneygram complaints team even bothered to discuss the issue.

I used to do money transfers via WU, but they screwed up so badly, taking ages to hear from them and finally rejecting all my transactions with the same information that was used successfully before, that I looked for other means of transferring money to my family overseas. At WU, calling them multiple times, they couldn't even tell me why the transfer was rejected!

Avoid!!!! Cancelled pickup for no reason
The first transaction was my fault as I had left out the middle name of the recipient but the second transaction there was no errors at all and then 2 days later for no reason at all they cancelled it! Without my permission at all or no reasoning provided.
I have now just fed them fees.
