Poor quality
All three wheels had to be replaced since we bought it one year ago. A front wheel had manufacturing problem. Bearings broke on one of the rear wheels and the tube on another got totally worn out. I would expect much more from it. If I learnt that it is manufactured in China I would rather go for Teutonia.
It's Practical.
Poor quality. For just city I would prefer a kid facing backwards.

Be aware of the one made in china now!!
We bought a second hand urban jungle almost brand new(you could smell it!!).We decide on this one because off all the reviews and this is not as solid as we thought, after a month the bearrings need to be replaced, the 2 rear wheels are really loose also.
I run with it and this is great but not as amazing as we thought.
The height/the maniability.
Made in china with cheaper parts but cost the same price.

Great Pram
I bought as I could put it up and down first go no worries, very easy to use and "drive". I live on a farm and it goes over gravel, sand, mud no worries. If I was buying again I would go for the swift as it has the same features but is a little lighter and narrower although the jungle is still heaps narrower than my friends strider. I am now buying a stroller but have a friend who uses her swift for this purpose. I bought the bassinet and used it HEAPS! This was really good as you can see bub while walking, also really comfy. I also ended up getting the shade and storm covers, they are really useful, shame they don't come with the pram.
Easy to put up/down, easy to "drive"
A little wide and heavy, doesn't come with accessories

Nothig better out there
I love love love this pram. We're tall and it's the only one which we didn't keep kicking our feet on. It turns easily, folds easily, goes everywhere I need it to go. Love that it can fold with the bassinet attached. Easy to clean. Great for tall children (downside of the swift). Accessories really good, we use a toddler board with it to get 2 kids around and it's perfect. I have had a Phil and Teds and a Maclaren and this is far far better. After 2 kids it still all looks brand new and I use it every day, often several times a day. It's light, narrow, so easy to push, even with 2 kids in it I can push 1 handed.
can be hot in summer when laid back as the sunroof and back arent open. This is fine though, everyone's hot in summer.

Great for active Mums & Dads!
We were given an older model Steelcraft Acclaim which we used for the first few weeks with baby, but it is not a great pram for doing fitness walks with and is quite heavy and cumbersome (although good for a newborn!).
So my hubby and I researched some prams, now knowing exactly what we didn't like about the Steelcraft and wanted in a new pram. The Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle ticked all the boxes - lightweight, fantastic movable sun shade, adjustable handle height to suit shorter Mum and taller Dad, big all terrain wheels and will suit newb...Read more
orn to 32kgs. So far it has been great! We bought the Red/Chilli colour as I do a lot of walking for fitness and this will ensure I am visible on the roads/paths. I am a little concerned as it is so lightweight, and I have only a 2 month old, that the pram could easily tip backwards, so you can't put ANY weight on the back unless you are holding the pram. lightweight, fantastic movable sun shade, adjustable handle height, big all-terrain wheels and will suit newborn to 32kgs. So lightweight that the pram can tip backwards easily with a small baby/not much weight in the seat/storage.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love, love, love it !!
Pram shopping is so hard, I was addiment I wanted to find the perfect pram.. And after trying and seeing almost every pram I was very happy to purchase the mountain buggy. The cost is high compared to others but I've only had to use one pram, where my friends have kept replacing prams along the way... So you save money there. My daughter now 3 still loves it and we still use it now on big days.
Big size for toddler, lots of use. Well made and Great Warranty!

We love our Mountain Buggy and couldn't do without it
We purchased the Chinese made MB with trepidation but I can honestly say we have not regretted it. The features we gained (ie; follow the sun canopy, better sun shade system etc, easy clip off wheels) either equal or outweigh the benefits of the old NZ model.
We have had this buggy since our now 14 month old was born. The first 3 months we used it with the basinett and found this use very handy with moving our newborn for sleeps all about the house and going walking with a smooth ride. Now in standard buggy mode we love taking our daughter f...Read more
or long city or trail walks as it is light to push and easy to steer, even one handed in a straight line. My daughter also happily sleeps in the buggy when we are out at night events or day naps, with the virtually lay flat seat. It fits into the boot of our '06 golf without taking off the wheel, and our late model Astra (with a portacot too). They can be a bit wide for retail shopping/tight spaces etc, (but definitely not impossible) so I ended up buying a Maclaren Quest for when we fly as well, and between the two its a pretty perfect combo. I wanted to wait over a year to write this review, just in case it wasn't the real deal (being Chinese made) and it truly hasn't let me down. Mine was purchased around the $500 mark and I've felt it represents value for money. Easy to push and a pleasure to use for long walks and all day pusher use (including sleeps, feeding in etc). Sporty look so husband is happy to push too! The left wheel brake soon after purchase kept not locking on, it was fixed promptly under warranty, but may have been my fault for not clicking the wheel on properly, but have had no trouble since.Similar opinion? I'm very happy with my buggy. So easy to push, light weight and very comfy for baby.
I had a Urban before I bought my new Urban Jungle. I definitely prefer the Urban Jungle because of the new features (follow the sun canopy, sun visor and rear wheel suspension). The canopy is a lot bigger compared to older models and the sun visor and its new shape make it a lot more effective to protect the little one from the sun. You would almost not need the sun cover. The rear wheel suspension definitely makes the ride more smooth compare the the Urban I had. Also it doesn't look flimsy and cheap compared to my old NZ made one (I had them ...Read more
side by side before the Urban was sold). Lots of people worry about the quality as they are now made in China, but I haven't had any problems with my Jungle so far (got it late last year). I'm very glad I bought my Urban Jungle. Definitely recommend it. So easy to push, turn in a dime, easy to fold and very comfortable for baby Quite large when folded, takes lot of room in the boot. But it is light weight compared to many other 3 wheelers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good
A great walking pram. Pushes like a dream. I can easily push with one hand and walk the dog on a leash in the other. Fantastic storage space and the hood is very adaptable to keep the sun of the baby. The backrest is easy to adjust as is the handle.
Steers like a dream, great storage, Good sunshade, sturdy, easy to adjust back rest, looks super comfy for baby. Good accessories - sunshade & rain cover. Fantastic walking pram
Quite heavy and bulky when folded. Is large when folded so can be difficult to lift in and out of the boot. Accessories are expensive but are of good quality and I would highly recommend them

Love it!
We researched loads of prams. So glad we chose this one. Its the easiest pram to push (u can use one finger), has a great turning circle, folds & unfolds with a breeze & isn't as heavy as others. It goes anywhere & is great quality - it isnt flimsy & doesn't look cheaply made like others. Carrycot & Peg Perego capsule are a 2 second job to attach. (you need to buy the adapotor for capsule - $50). All in all - very easy to use.
All of it, we think its great. Non complicated fold away system. Extremely lightweight to push.
Expensive accessories, but do recommend the mesh (flyscreen). Can't attach a 2nd baby seat. Only have the option to attach one brand of capusle. Backrest could sit a little more upright.

I would highly recommend this product for everyday and outdoor use. It is sturdy and I feel that my child is safe and comfortable in this pram. My daughter is easily able to sleep in this pram. I had a problem early on with one of the tyres and Mountain Buggy was supportive and rectified this problem quickly and without question.
This pram is sturdy and well built. I feel safe carrying my daughter about in it. The design of the handles makes sure that shopping bags can not be attached to the handles which I think is a bonus. The brake is easy t...Read more

Good
Overall this is a great pram if you are into long walks, not recommended if all you want to use it for is quick trips like shopping. Fits most doors but there are the odd places it is a bit wide. Not good if you are planning more than one bub. Still for what we use it for we love it.
We loved the bassinet and then when bubs got bigger just swapped the carrier. Nothing can break this pram. Its a great pram for long walks and we have even taken it on bushwalks (where there is a well worn track). Very smooth and sturdy.
Dont like that you have to buy all the extra's seperately, it can be very expensive. There is no option adapt the pram for baby number two. It is very large and takes up alot of space in the car. Can be a bit heavy.

Excellent
Fantastic pram, you will not be disappointed. Smooth and easy to handle, narrower than its predecessor (Urban/Urban Elite), with a much more practical hood design.
I love my mountain buggy urban jungle. Its hardwearing, comfortable for bub and easy to use. The moveable hood with flick-out visor is a fantastic feature, and one which I use a lot. Great viewing window. Feel confident going over gravel, grass...any sort of uneven ground. Easy to set up and down. Easy to remove wheels if necessary. Not too heavy at around 11kg.
No little pockets around the hood area (for keeping things like phone on hand), though there are pockets in the basket. My handle bar is quite wobbly...something which I will be following up with Mountain Buggy.

I love my Mountain Buggy. Bubs always looks so comfortable in the pram and falls asleep so easily which is fantastic as I can get out and about. I have all the extras like the carry cot, lambskin liner, sunshade and the storm cover which is expensive but well worth it as I have used all of them heaps of times. You really need to purchase the sunshade as the hood doesn't cover much of baby in strong sun. I believe the newer MBs have a larger hood though.
If there was ever a heavy duty pram, then it has to be the Mountain Buggy. The frame is made...Read more

Best thing I ever brought!
It was an expensive item, but after many experienced mums telling me how bad their prams were, and them requiring to purchase a second pram, we thought we would spend the money and get a good one, first time around. Have had it for 2.5 years and its still a fantastic pram. We live rurally and it glides through sand, bush, anything! Everyone who pushes it says how lovely it is! AND best part it has a 3 year warrenty!
Everything, easy to fold, packs down small (although we have a big car to put it in) easy to clean. We had a small problem with the holding "tray" and Mountain Buggy Australia replaced it, no hassles!
Not a thing!

Good
I really love my Mountain Buggy, but find I have to be care to not put anything on the handle bars especially if the baby is in the pram, which means the shopping basket is full before I begin. It handles most terrain, but not as stable as my 4-wheel steering Bertini I had for the first 3 kids, but the MB steers a lot better making up for it! I do wish I'd bought a pram that took two kids though, so I could put both the baby and my toddler in it!
I love the Urban Jungle's manoeuvrability and it's quick to fold and un-fold. The hood and sun v...Read more

Excellent buggy. Friends that have seen it and given it a push around cant believe its manouvrability and how light weight it is. Can take it on all terrain, sturdy and roomy for bub/toddler.
Highly recommended
lightweight for its size, easy to fold up and wheels can be removed super easily for travel or long term storage - pram packs quite flat.
doesnt fit through some supermarket checkout isleswhen the shade cover is on you cant access the little side pockets on the hood
