This monitor is SICK!
I had been using a pretty average Samsung 24" TN screen for years, but was able to take advantage of one of MSI's sales recently which allowed me a purchase this beautiful 27" MPG27CQ by MSI.
It was packaged really well and was supplied with 1x HDMI 1x DirectIn cable and I was set to go.
The colours outta the boxed looked good, but after a few bits of tweaking they looked great. The curved screen really suits the display, almost makes it look bigger than it should be.
One of the biggest positives for the screen is the refresh rate - 144HZ which when displaying at 2K looks incredible, finally I feel like I'm getting an imersive experience.
I'm running it with a GTX1080 and push 100fps on Tomb Raider at 2K on Ultra and it looks awesome.

Amazing Value & Versatility
This monitor is amazing. I wanted a 2K monitor to play the latest titles on my brand new PC & am so glad I purchased this monitor. It has great colours, it is blazing fast & all my games look fantastic. PUBG, Control, Wolfenstein Youngblood (both were free with the Graphics Card!) & Fallout 4, look spectacular. I have played all of these games on a PS4 Pro. I can no longer play console now I have see how much better everything looks on PC & how much smoother it is.

hotos & give off a nice glow, which gives the monitor a premium feel. The only downside in my opinion is that it does not have a 360 degree rotation available, but now I am nit picking. The cable management is fantastic & the RGB software is very easy to use. Speaking of cables, you do get 2 HDMI ports & x 1 DPI port. This means you can have you PS4, Laptop for work & a PC hooked up all to the same monitor, without having to swap out cables from them. Hence why I believe this is a very versatile monitor. So if you are serious gamer & not quite ready for the 4K experience because of money, then this is a great step up from the lower end gaming monitors with bright & vibrant colours, great viewing angles (it is a curved monitor) & having lots of ports, then this is a monitor I highly recommend.Similar opinion?
