I love it!
I used it with my 3 children. It provides great back support and frees my arms during feeding. It lift away baby's weight from me. especially in hot days, both me and my babies are comfortable on it.

Love it
This is a great feeding pillow that won't slide off you and is able to keep baby stable in your arms. The same is perfect .. Only downside is the buckle I find getting in and out can be difficult when baby falls asleep to put down in her cot..

Saved my tied limbs
I found this pillow makes feeding so much more comfortable. My wrists and arms and back were sore from holding my baby and th S just takes the pressure off. my baby often falls asleep on this pillow too which makes it easier to put hi, back to bed after a feed.

I find an ordinary pillow easier
The breastfeeding pillow is ok. I find using an ordinary pillow easier if the chair has armrests. The breastfeeding pillow is good when there are no arm rests like on most dining chairs. I rarely feed at the dining table so I hardly use the Brest friend. The two bumps on the pillow are strange. Once bub is older than 2 mths, Baby's head is on one bump and baby's lower half ends up on the other bump, putting baby into an awkward position. Not sure how that's supposed to work. Flat would have been better.

lifesaver!
This pillow made breast feeding a much easier and happier experience. I used to find it frustrating to arrange pillows exactly and would always have a sore back. Since getting my brestfriend I haven't looked back, i even packed it for holidays. Only negative is the high price and poor quality of the cover material. Have brought backup cover on amazon.

Hardly ever used it
This is great for tired arms but I found that i couldnt quite get the positioning right probably because my breasts were too small! (pre pregnant 12A) also, it meant that I couldn't put baby straight from breast to bassinet if he fell asleep because the pillow is strapped tight to my waist.
Comfortable
Didnt "fit" me

Try before you buy!
I bought this pillow based on the amazing reviews on this site. I used it once and found it comfortable as it finally took some weight off my poor arms. Thereafter it became increasingly uncomfortable and started causing me a lot of pain in my back, neck and shoulders again. I ended up getting the milk bar pillow which was much more suitable to me. I am quite tall (5'10) and baby was small (3kg) to start with. To get baby to my boob I had to have the pillow up very high which meant the strap/lumbar support was in the middle of my back. Also he ...Read more
had a lot of reflux for the first few months and needed to feed at an angle which is not possible with this pillow, trying to angle it also gave me incredible back pain. Undoing the waist strap made the whole thing too bulky to comfortably use. Firm pillow. Easy to wash. Good design probably better suited to people with a short torso Expensive, uncomfortable for meSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Pure Breast and Back Bliss!
This product is worth every dollar!!! I’m a mummy of seven that has used this item on EVERY single child. I have endured severe lower back problems for many years, yet when using this pillow my back ache eases and my posture is straight. There is no strain on the breasts or back. This pillow supports newborn weight to at least an 18 month olds weight. The foam is firm and is still intact after all these years. Very hygienic as the cover can be taken off and easily washed by hand or in the washing machine. You can also buy additional covers if o...Read more
ne is in the wash! The strap can be adjusted pending your size which makes this item “custom designed”. Breast feeding causes you to be thirsty and this pillow has catered for exactly that! A water bottle holder in a very practical position. It is also a great size for dummies, remote controls and of course those much needed delectable snacks! Most importantly this pillow is also very comfortable and stable for you baby. This pillow is firm and gives support for you and your baby. It is hygienic as the cover can be taken off and washed in the washing machine or by hand. There are additional covers that can be bought. The foam stays firm and does not deteriorate over time. The strap is adjustable pending your size. When in use you have TWO free hands!!!The drink holder is very practical and a great size! The pillow is a little bulky so if you need to take it out and about it does take a little extra room. It is an item that cannot be bent and is not foldable.Similar opinion? Great - so you can feed too
I purchased My Brest Friend after a friend recommended it. She was correct in that it is brilliant to use and very comfortable. I am stilling using it for my 5 and a half month old who is now 8kg and will continue to use it as long as I can. It certainly saves your back and shoulders.
I have also found that I can easily have a drink (water of course) or a bite to eat whilst feeding my son. Also easy to wash and it is quick and easy to clip on

Best feeding pillow!
I love this pillow. It is firm, high and adjustable. The cover is easy to clean and replace. Using this pillow is so much better for your back than a regular pillow or other brands. It straps to you and is adjustible for the perfect fit. I highly recommend it to breast feeding mothers as it saves your aching back!!
Comfortable, firm, adjustable
Expensive but worth it!

great for late night feeds when you're exhausted
I was given it as a present. I found it great for the late night feeds when I'm really tired and as bub grew heavier. I didn't always use it during the day as I found other pillows also served the same purpose. You do have to adjust how high up you have it strapped so that it's the right height for your baby to reach you. Also makes it easy if you need to move somewhere while feeding the baby.
great design, washable cover. You can kind of have both hands free once baby is latched on.
With harder back chairs, you need to have a cushion behind your upper back for it to be comfortable.

Would not have been able to breastfeed without it!
When I was learning to breastfeed, my back got really sore and I almost gave up. "My Brest Friend" changed all that! It supports both you and baby & was the key to my successful breastfeeding. My baby used to fall asleep on it - it's very comfy for both mum and baby.
Comfortable, easy to use

Excellent
We had some trouble establishing breastfeeding in the early days and this pillow really helped me to get my baby into a good position to help perfect her attachment. I love this pillow, it clips around the middle so once you have it in position it stays there and you can focus on feeding baby. Before I was using regular pillows and constantly readjusting which disrupted the feed time. Its a good height, I have large breasts and this pillow allows me to have one hand to hold the breast and one hand for the baby's head. I don't get sore arms or b...Read more
ack from holding the baby up. It keeps baby well positioned and since she sometimes takes up to an hour to feed this is very helpful! It works really well for both the cradle hold and the football (side) hold. I would highly recommend this pillow to anyone, it's great! Easy to use, keeps baby at a good height for feeding, clips around the middle so it doesn't slip away like regular pillows, nice firm surface supports baby's head nicely, handy pocket for keeping spare breast pads in, machine washable removable cover. None! Was a bit expensive for a pillow (I paid around $85) but considering I use it multiple times every day I think its well worth it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not my thing
I got a "My Breastfriend" after reading amazing reviews on it I had never herd a bad thing. So I got mine & after a few failed attempts just decided its not for me. Having said that I wish I could have gotten comfortable using it because it's a great idea.
Overall I would probably suggest this product it was just not for me
I did seem to have great back support & mine had a gorgeous pattern
I could just never get comfortable, could never get my baby in the right position & it made me feel a bit like an object as silly as that sounds. Just sitting there with a baby hanging off me very impersonal.

A "must" if you want to breast-feed comfortably
I used a My Brest Friend feeding pillow until my daughter was about 10 months old, and i really couldn't have done without it. It made breastfeeding so much more comfortable, bringing my baby to the perfect height for her to attach. I also found the little pocket quite handy for keeping things like my iphone or remote control (or snacks!). I was lucky to borrow one off a friend, but this time around (i'm due in 2 months), I'll definitely be buying one. Can't do without!
Made breastfeeding a lot easier and more comfortable.
Nothing really...

Loved being able to feed relatively hands free!!!
I found the my brest friend deluxe excellent during the firatfew months of feeding my daughter. I had quite a sore back after the birth and found the back support improved my comfort extremely while sitting for those long periods you do while feeding. Unfortunately we did not have the space (or the budget) to invest in one of those flashy feeding chairs, so this was my compromise and i found it brilliant. The cover is easy to chuck in the machine and replace, and the handy pocket is great for those little things you find ALWAYS out of reach whi...Read more
le breastfeeding. Now that my daughter is a bit older she doesnt really seem to like laying at the angle created by the pillow, but the first few months i found it brilliant! We got ours near new from ebay so saved a lot and found it great value for money These can be a little on the expensive side brand new, but there are many to be found on sites such as ebay or gumtreeSimilar opinion? Made feeding a lot easier
I have use My Breast Friend since I got home from the hospital. It has made breastfeeding so much more comfortable and I still use it today with my almost 9 month old son.
Easy to use. Comfortable. Provides good back support.
My son would fall asleep breastfeeding early on - perhaps he was a little too comfortable. Would love extra covers to be available in Australia.

No other breast-feeding pillow can compare, as none are anywhere near as stable or comfortable to use as this one. You forget you have it on! My son loves it and even snoozes peacefully on it after his feed. The key feature is its flat shelf-like top, and the fact that once it's on it does not require constant readjusting. If you want a transformed breastfeeding experience, get this pillow. Your back and shoulders will be saved - no wonder all lactation consultants recommend it.

Look around if you want to get it new, you'll find a store that charges about $10 less. I bought mine secondhand on ebay.
I keep mine clipped up to prevent further splitting when moving it about.
I use a terry towling nappy over the top so I don't have to bother with the issue of unzipping and washing the cover.
Especially good for mum's who've had C-Sections
Great height.
Variety of covers.
I think it's awesome for feeding, a normal pillow will just not suffice.
It was overpriced in many stores, apart from being expensive already for a...Read more

Good
I should've bought this pillow the first few days in hospital so that I could have gotten additional use out of it (the cost of it still stings), however, I wanted to wait to see if the breastfeeding would continue successfully. Definitely recommend it as an early purchase for the first few weeks of a baby's life.
I bought this pillow when my baby was 8 weeks old after increasingly sore shoulders, arms and nipples! The Brest Friend, despite its daggy name that makes my husband laugh, is a great product. I have my arms free to read a book/surf t...Read more

Can you actually walk around with this while breastfeeding?
When bub 2 is born bub 1 will be 21 months and I won't be able to always sit still for long, esp if she takes as long as he did in the first few months!
Thanks in advance!
1 answer
Yes I do this all the time! I did it when I had just the one and now it's particularly useful now that she is 2.5 Years old and I've got a 4 month old, so multi tasking is so great when I'm in a rush and the little one needs to feed.
