Apparently the environment counts for little
I was a first time online coffee buyer seeking good coffee that I could buy in capsules for my Nespresso machine. I had concerns about biodegradability but wanted to find a good ethically sourced coffee. Well my coffee arrived today and every blooming capsule is wrapped in a plastic sealed bag. So fresh yes but oh lord the poor environment. Won't be coming back I can assure you. In this day and age I would have thought environmental issues would be a significant issue. Not for MyCuppa apparently

Not the place to go for customer service. Don't know about the beans.
I sent an enquiry and received a speedy but pretty flippant reply that pretty much told me my business wasn't wanted/needed/valued. So I didn't bother buying anything. Very typical of Aussie businesses that don't give a stuff unless you're handing over cash and even then probably don't give a stuff anyway. In any case there are hundreds of roasters to buy from so I decided not to bother with this one based on the apathy I encountered.

Excessively Rude customer service
I have been a customer for more than a year, then i was shocked by the due handling of their customer service.
I politely requested the coffee to be bagged in 250g portions "If possible" and the response via email in his own words that i am stupid and "can't read" because on the website it doesn't show that option to buy 250. Later on he suggested that i go else where to buy "stale and crap" coffee as he thinks he is the only one that sells coffee.
I boycott them and will tell all my friends about this story. There are hundreds of coffee roasters that will respect their customers AND provide good fresh beans.

Great source of online coffee beans
When I bought an espresso machine I looked around for a source of coffee beans. I tried a few specialty coffee shops in Adelaide, and also the Adelaide Market. The Market had several good suppliers but you never know how long the beans have been sitting around in those glass jars.
I found a reference to Mycuppa online and I have been buying beans from them for two years now. I have settled on a single source coffee bean that I like, and it is very satisfying when my friends tell me that the coffee I give them is the best they have had for ye...Read more
ars. I recommend Mycuppa wholeheartedly. I buy the beans (with the date of roasting clearly marked on the bag) in 1kg lots, and including postage it comes out about the same price as the shops in the Adelaide Market charge. Delivery only takes a few days (order on the weekend, get it on Thursday). I'm not sure why it costs the same to deliver 1kg of coffee as a 12 bottle box of wine, but I guess that is an Australia Post issue.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disgusting people, coffee nothing special
Really disgusting to deal with [name removed] at mycuppa / carlini coffee, seems to think it's ok to be derogatory towards his customers in his email comments and add to that the high prices for coffee that, let's face it, it's not really the best of the best. Bad experience, save your money AND your time, go elsewhere.
My original question was about the roasting date, it was not clearly printed on the front of pack. I wanted to try different beans because from the last few purchases the same beans had different strange flavors, not consistent...Read more

Found it finally....
I am a serious coffee drinker and by serious I do not mean I have too many coffees a day, but that I like my coffee to be perfect every time I have it. To this end, more often than not, I am unsatisfied with the coffee at the cafes near me so I bought a barista machine myself. But since then I struggled to find the perfect source of beans for a couple of months. I tried different brands of fresh roasted coffee but its a trade between price and quality always. Then I found MyCuppa and Carlini coffees online. I have become a fan and a regular cus...Read more
tomer to them since. They have the absolute best collection of fresh roasted beans, at great prices, combined with prompt deliveries and great customer service. I have tried a few of their blends and all of them have become my favourite. Even their decaf beans are amazing. Even guests at my place always comment that my coffee is always the best that they have had. I cannot recommend MyCuppa more if I wanted to....in fact I do it always....... to all of my friends.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Turned me to the dark (roasted) side
In the past, I've not been a huge fan of coffee - indeed, I was more of a tea aficionado. However, a good cuppa was always considered a blessing, though hard to find.
A friend suggested I visit http://www.mycuppa.com.au/ to get genuinely fresh beans, telling me it makes all the difference.
He was right! I've ordered a wide range of beans from MyCuppa, tasting and testing to find the single-source and blends I like best. Every single 500g pack I've purchased has been a pleasant surprise. From the toasty, mild Mocha blend in the morning t...Read more
o the almost sweet and dark Guatemala Antigua in the late afternoon, I've found all of their beans perfect. And the variety... just wonderful! From the descriptions on the MyCuppa website, it is clear these folks know and love their coffee, and supply beans as a passion, not just a business. The cost is only marginally ($2-$) more than buying commercial beans in the supermarket, though shipping is extra (hint, get 6-8 500kg bags shipped at one time to save postage, and split with you foodie friends ).Similar opinion?
