FABULOUS JOB !!!
My daughter just built her first home and had the air conditioning done by Needhamair - Paul was fabulous to deal with did quote promptly and explained everything in detail, answered all her questions nothing was to much hassle.
Mark and Ben arrive on time to do the installation could not have asked for a better team they were polite took care while working and clean up after themselves leaving the house spotless - took the time to explain how the new air conditioner worked.
Have already asked Needhamair to quote another property we have.
Highly recommend Needhamair to anyone who is consider a new air conditioner.

It was a nightmare!
We unfortunately spent $$$$$ plus additional $$$$ with Needham Air for an Actron Air ducted air conditioner and had an absolutely awful and disgusting experience! In our experience, this company was sales driven for profits, with no care for us as customers, and has a business model geared to continue collecting money when problems arise.
Due to the company’s faulty installation of the air conditioning system into our brand new home, the air conditioner emitted a musty horrible smell from inception. Needham Air refused to honour their warranty...Read more
for its faults, blaming me and my family, our good builders, Actron Air the manufacturer, and anyone else involved to recuse themselves from repair often using the catch phrase of “take us to court”! Much to the shock and dismay of all involved including Consumer Protection authorities. Throughout Needham Air was aggressive and insulting to me and my family and repairers trying to diagnose the issues and work on a solution. Eventually we learned that the return air was installed incorrectly, drawing moisture into the indoor unit, damaging components in the chain. The unit was replaced at my significant expense $$$$$ to the shock of those assisting me to rectify the problem. I understand the industry is well aware of Needham Air’s negative and disgusting habits. Just stay away!

Excellent service, again!
Needhamair installed a new reverse cycle system in our last house about 12 years ago (still going strong I understand!) and did as fab job. So when it came to replace the system in our current house we researched a few companies, but decided again to use Needhamair. From design and installation through to commissioning they were great. A tale of Two Needhams
I wanted only the best for my $2,2mil build, but it was a nightmare for 90% of my time dealing with [name removed]. Needham Air designed and installed our system but the City of Joondalup took Needham to task because the installation did not comply with the Environmental Protection Act (1986). r having dealt fruitlessly with[name removed] all this time, one of the technicians suggest that his father, [name removed], be advised of this fiasco. [name removed] was the complete opposite of [name removed], being both polite and professional and the problem was solved within weeks. Very Good Service!
The sales manager who we dealt with was great (Dean). He called me to explain a few items which was very much appreciated. The workmen were also very good and worked very quickly. Highly recommend.

Excellent Friendly Prompt Customer Service !!
I recently had my LG Air-conditioning fixed and found the serviceman to be very friendly, efficient and helpful . I would definitely recommend Needhamair.

Faulty work, terrible service and consumer protection complaint
Needham sent me an incompetent technician, charged me to misdiagnose an issue, refused to refund when another company found and fixed the actual problem and he also found their previous repair job on a gas leak was not done properly and they refused to fix their mistake. Do not use them!! I have registered a complaint with consumer protection, who said they were difficult to discuss this with and advised me to take them to small claims.

Needham Air
We bought a Mitsubishi RC air con system about 7 years ago ($25K). Whilst the initial experience was great, we have since had an issue with Needham getting out to fix a problem. Just over a week ago the motor on our unit died. I had to chase their office staff to get an appointment inside a two week period and that was to come and look at the problem. In the middle of winter that is unacceptable. To their credit, after sending some feedback via email, I managed to have them come 3 days later. roblem that he would ring the office and have them prioritise the report because the wait on a motor from the eastern states was a week. I again had to call servicing to check that this had been looked at...twice....with a weekend in between...another three days without heating. To cut a long story short, their customer service is terrible. Over two weeks without heating in the middle of winter!! I get the logistics of parts coming from over east, but really, the dismissiveness from office staff was really disappointing and with two young kids and no heating for that length of time, it's just not good enough. I have faithfully had this unit serviced every year as recommended and this year's service prior to the motor dying was only 5 weeks earlier. Very good experience
I understand it is frustrating when trying to decide which air con company to use and which product to buy, as you are always bamboozled by the same old pitch and same old claims that they know best. It can be a huge investment and a decision should not be taken lightly. We were very impressed with Needhamair. Dean started us off and although he has his sales technique, he really does have good knowledge and that's what swung it for us. done a great job. They were very respectful of our house and made sure all marks and mess was completely cleaned away after use. We had one issue with the Unit in the garden not being secured properly causing a risk to our kids, but as soon as this was raised they ensured the matter was resolved to our satisfaction. The technician Chad who came to check the air flow was also professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All in all we are very happy with the service we have obtained from Needhamair and the Mitsubishi unit seems to be working well. We would recommend needhamair based on our experience.Similar opinion? Terrible Company!
I had a ducted and split system installed by Needhamair in 2016. Basically they tried to charged several variations and stuffed everything up (despite visiting my home for a measure and quote).
At the time I contact and raise by concern / complain with their Project Manager, General Manger and Owner, but they basically could not have cared less.
The end of the story is that I now have a air-conditioning system that doesn't work for the upstairs part of my home. I was told I could either have an additional vent / return (they sized everyt...Read more
hing wrong and it wasn't working) or they would fix the upstairs. I chose the vent / return. To make matters even worse, they damaged my ceiling in several places over several days, of which they did pay for some of the damage. To add further insult to injury, after Needham air had finished trying to overcharge and butcher my house, I had roof and ceiling damage over the next winter, which was directly due to the amount of rubbish left in the gutter, misplaced tiles and general shoddy workmanship. I had to pay for a roofing repaired to fix this, which was not existing damage since the air-con was the first thing I did (and only work involving the roof and ceiling space). The saga continued with Needhamair Administration contacting 1 year after the botched installation for alleged "outstanding payment". When I forwarded my payment in full email, and highlighted the winter ceiling / roof damage, true to Needham form this was ignored.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Service
We had a great experience with Needhamair. The sales consultant conducted a very thorough site inspection and responded with a detailed quote really promptly. The install team were very polite and neat and tidy.
We did a lot of research before investing in an air con system and found a lot of mixed reviews around the place, but we couldn't fault Needhamair at any point in our dealings with them. They were able to explain to us how and why what they'd quoted would suit our home and how we wanted to be able to use the system.
We opted for a Mitsubishi Electric system, with a zone controller and wifi and have been really happy with its performance.

Avoid at all costs!
We unfortunately chose Needhamair to install our ducted and split system and pretty much regretted every day we have to deal with them.
For being outright lied to, continuous property damage which they even admitted to but refused to pay for to constant mistakes I would strongly advise you consider taking your business elsewhere.
I was taking to their subcontractors who install their bigger system, and they even through Needhamair was a joke. I was advised Needhamair often prices for extra ducting and zones, only to not install them.
Simply put, Needhamair is NOT a reputable company and does NOT provide good customer service.
I found very limited review, but I wished someone has warmed me!
