Wow, how have I not tried this before????

published

I have used this soap on my face (acne prone & sensitive) for a week. I'm hooked, I've tried almost everything on the market to clear my skin, for some reason, not this. My face has cleared & complexion is the best in years. Soft, smooth & no irritation. I absolutely adore this little affordable beauty.

Purchased in October 2021 for $2.70.

Best bar of soap ever

published

I have been using this soap for more than 15 years. It was recommended by my GP following extreme heat rash that I had experienced. I have been hooked since. Absolutely love it! It keeps my skin clean, does not strip it of natural oils and maintains hydration. My teenage son has been using the same soap on his skin and it has helped to maintain a great complexion free of acne. Highly recommend as is hypo-allergenic and really great for all skin types.

I like Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar!!!!!

published

I have used Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar for many years. I believe the best cleansing for cleaning face is cleaning face thoroughly with minimum harm to face skin. Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar is perfect to serve this purpose. I haven't found any other facial cleansing better than this product. Some people complain it makes their face dry. I think it means it does the cleansing job! It is a cleansing bar not a moisturizer!

Neutrogena Fantastic

published

I have been using this cleaning bar for my face and body for over 40 yrs. I won't use anything else.It doesn't last long if you use it all over because it's so soft and lathers up beautifully.Cannot understand why the reviews here are so bad? I will continue to use it, but would like the aroma to be the same as it was so many years ago. Perhaps it might appeal more with a soft perfume.

Used with Neutrogena moisturiser, other skin products and hair products you have no need for over priced "names' at all.
Lathers beautifully, soft and smooth on my skin and very refreshing.
Wish the bar was bigger.

This bar facial cleanser is quite cheap and goes a long way, being a bar. My skin is dry, sensitive and congested. I found that this cleanser cleaned my skin really well, but stripped it too much leaving it overdried. My skin also felt slightly irritated after using it (perhaps because it was dried out too) but it did not make me break out. One of the first things I noticed about it (which put me off) is its strong, unpleasant smell. I no longer use this for my face but on my body, and I would not repurchase it.
Quite inexpensive, cleans skin effectively.
Dried my skin out, unpleasant smell.

This irritated my skin, I never tried it again after giving it a go for a week and would suggest that if your skin is prone to irritation you avoid it. For a company that normally has great stuff, this bar dried out my skin and made it flaky and sore. It literally saps ALL the oil from your face, including the stuff you want there to keep it supple! Decent price, but not worth what it does to your face at all.
A good brand. Gets rid of gunk on the face.
Dries out the face to the point of flaking, doesn't really do anything a good oil free toner won't do and makes the skin really sore.

Terrible

I used to use this when I was in my teens and twenties from time to time and found it quite harsh on my skin and dried it out a lot even when I used the one for dry skin types. It really stripped my skin of all it's natural oils and now looking back I think I should never have used it at all. Maybe it would be okay if someone had incredibly oily skin and they used it only once in a while but every day would be way to harsh and I feel quite detrimental to the skin.
Washes off makeup and oils effectively. Super-cheap and lasts for ages and ages.
Quite harsh (even the one for dry skin types!)

I boutht Neutrogena® Facial Cleansing Bar because of it's promotion as a pure and gentle cleanser that would be safe for alergic type skin, I did not find it was. I liked that I could buy a fragrance-free verision of Neutrogena but even with the hypo allergenic nature of this product it left my skin feeling uncomfortably tight, dry, irritated and as if there was a soap residue on the skin, very unpleasant.
It is readily available in the stores and inexpencive.
It is not the pH of the body, it is druying on the skin and I did not like the feel of my skin after I used the Neutrogen Facial Clensing Bar.

OK

I received this as a gift, and it's alright for a facial cleanser though it did dry out my skin slightly during the first few times I used it. It doesn't smell too good so that puts me off slightly, but other than that, it's alright.
Cleans well, and does not contain many nasty chemicals.
Can be a bit drying more my skin unless used with a moisturiser.
