Although the smell is a bit different, it is worth it for such an effective shampoo. I find I only have to use it a couple of times for it to clear up any dandruff I have and it is not damaging to my hair.
Clears up dandruff quickly. I find I don't have to use much so it lasts a while.
Smell is quite distinctive and not very pleasant.

I use both the shampoo and conditioner regularly to help control my psoriasis but find the smell very difficult to deal with. It also takes longer to wash your hair, as the shampoo needs to stay on for a bit longer than normal. Even considering all of this, I would still recommend this product to anyone who has problems with an itchy, flaky scalp.

I have achieved the best results for my scalp by alternating using this and the Dermaveen Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner.
Works well to control psoriasis and stop the itching and flaky skin
The smell, it is very drying to my hair and can strip colour very quickly

Neutrogena T/Gel Shampoo is amazing! Such a cheap tar shampoo that works effectively. I usually use it for my dandruff, because I find it works much better than my other dandruff shampoos. It leaves hair soft and super shiny.
The only thing I don't like about it is the smell. Way too strong, but I've smelt other tar shampoos and they are basically the same, so the smell is inevitable.
I love this product, I use it only every once in a while and it takes me ages just to run through one bottle.
Works perfectly!
Smells bad.

We have been buying T-Gel for a few years now and it has been really helpful in the health of our scalps. It leaves the hair soft and shiny. The clear bottle is good as you can see how much shampoo is left in the bottle.
Neutrogena T-Gel is a great product for getting rid of seborrhaic dermatitis. As soon as my head gets itchy I make sure I wash with T-Gel and it stops the itching. I love the Neutrogena brand and that is why I tried T-Gel in the first place.
The smell, but you get used to that. It is quite expensive if you wash your hair daily.

This is the only shampoo which cleared up my psoriasis. The smell is quite strong, though you do find that you get used to it. I have to use the T gel conditioner aswell as it is hard to lather up and can leave your hair feeling very strawlike. It's gentle on your hair and the smell doesn't stay there long at all. I highly recommend this shampoo!
This worked for me and got rid of my psoriasis
Expensive and the smell is quite offputting, though you do get used to it! It is also hard to lather up

We bought this for a family member who had really bad dermatitis on her scalp, she had fairly instant relief and found if she kept using it till the conditon was gone that it didnt come back, not straight away and it was usually something that made it flare up like the salty sea water drying in her hair at the beach.I thought it was really good value as a bottle cost around $15 but it lasted for a long time and being a treatment shampoo you would expect it to be higher priced than a standard shamp.I give it a thumbs up,saved alot of misery in our house.
Really does work.Calms itching down and scalp flakey build up. Easy to get, most chemists stock it.
Not the nicest smelling but there are worse ones.

I suffer from seborrhoeic eczema and this really did very little to help with the embarassing flakes of dry skin from my scalp. It did not help the itchiness either. Have used this when my condition is not bad and it works better then but when the condition has flared up this does nothing at all.
It slightly eased the problem when not flared up but still had lots of flakes

It seems to work really well with dermatitis and tinea versicolour. I am still not convinced that it is the product for me. I purchased it and tried it and as soon as I stopped using it the dermatitis came back. It is far too expensive to have all the time.
It really works.
The price it is really quite expensive for it's size.
