From the first meeting, we found Mike to be very easy to talk to. His quote was clear, easy to understand, and he readily discussed a few details as we required. He always kept appointment times, or called if he was delayed to amend the time if necessary. (This was a HUGE plus for us). Once the work started, his team of workers were all as diligent with times, were respectful of the house and animals, cleaned up any mess and worked hard to complete the job quickly. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the whole experience was far less tedious than we expected.

The promise of a "working bathroom in 7 days" is a total joke. There were constant problems with the tiles being laid incorrectly; including some badly chipped tiles being used, even though there were three boxes of leftover tiles! Tradies failed to turn up on several occasions, with no notification or courtesy call. The builder promised to call in each afternoon to supervise the job; but after the first few days, seemed to lose interest and it was difficult to get him to return calls/texts/emails. A water leakage problem went on for months, and wasn't fixed until Department of Fair Trading intervened. Overall, a very bad experience which I will never repeat.

Mick Dimis and his team were very professional in there approach. All of the different trades turned up when they said they would and cleaned up afterwards. From start to finish the whole job took 3 weeks, it would have been shorter except for a short delay in fitting the shower glass screen. Mick is happy to give advice on tile and style arrangements if required but does not push his ideas unnecessarily.
I would recommend Newcastle Bathroom Renovators to anyone. Thanks guys for a top job.

Cannot praise NBR highly enough. They completely renovated both my ensuite and main bathroom simultaneously. An extraordinary professional and well run business. All the guys are courtesy, friendly and excellent tradies. Mick kept me informed and always returned my calls; he went above and beyond to accommodate the extras I asked for. All work was completed in a timely manner and all rubbish removed. Love my new bathrooms. Thank you Mick all at NBR

Our bathroom renovation started off going well, as work progressed there were small details I had to constantly contact owner about. The promise of a bathroom in seven days is unrealistic, and the work was rarely supervised. Now that the work is completed, or so we thought, contacting the owner has become impossible. No reply to multiple texts. Would not recommend this company now.
