Forever Home Perfect !!!
Matt and his team couldn't have been more helpful and professional. They completely stripped bare our old outdated bathrooms x 3 !!! and gave us three beautiful modern sparkling new ones. The process was absolutely painles, every trade we dealt with was excellent. Their attention to detail was brilliant from covering everything in their path that could have been damaged, to millimetre perfect construction. Very sloppy work
Terrible workmanship and horrible service. It’s all about getting the job done quick rather than done right. The should use the same people rather than 5 people doing bits and pieces. Unfortunately the quality of their work is not a good as it was when Fred was monitoring the work. Very disappointed especially in their care for the customers who believe they will do the right thing.

We have just had our second bathroom renovated by Fred Rose Bathroom Renovtions. The first bathroom was installed 27 years ago and was still as good as the day it was first installed. I loved it then and I still loved it when it had to be demolished as I needed wheelchair access. I have no words good enough to express my thanks to Matthew and his team of amazing tradies. hours. All deliveries arrived on time and the whole process worked like a well oiled machine. Matt was on site every day and sometimes more than once. I felt completely comfortable leaving them in the house if we needed to go out. All rubbish was removed every day and there was never a thing left behind. We are so incredibly impressed (ONCE AGAIN) with the firms professionalism and how helpful Matt was in endeavouring to make things as easy as possible for my disability. I will always be thankful and will recommend them to everyone. I cannot believe some of the negative reviews I have just read on this site. We most certainly have not experienced any of what is written. Everything went like clockwork the tradies arrived on time they were very polite. David did a great job designing what I wanted. Everyone that has seen our new bathroom is very impressed.The office staff were terrific I am very happy with my choice of Fred Rose.

Initially, we were a bit hesitant to engage Fred Rose to do our bathroom and toilet room renovations due to some of the negative comments found on the internet. However, once we set foot at their Fairfield showroom we were not only impressed by the displays, but also, by the professionalism shown by Matt and Mitchell. Excellent results
Once again Fred Rose Bathrooms.did not disappoint. I had my bathroom installed by them 12 years ago and was delighted with the end result. Sold that apartment a few months ago and several buyers commented on how beautiful the bathroom was and were surprised when I told them the bathroom had been renovated 12 years earlier.
The new apartment I purchased needed some work and Matt came out. I couldn't speak more highly of the way the whole process was handled. I have dealt with many tradesmen over the years and because of so many bad experiences always dread getting any work done. It is extremely uplifting to deal with a company which is both ethical and proud of their workmanship. A rare thing indeed.

Costly
We had 2 bathrooms and a laundry done by Fred Rose. When jobs were finished we had issues that needed to be fixed. It took a long time for them to come back. I would look into other options before committing to them.

We love our bathrooms!!!
We had both the bathroom and ensuite done by Fred Rose. Works completed in Dec 2015. We are very happy with the overall work done. Yes the costs were much more expensive but the works were done professionally and the products were of high quality. Yes, there were problems, but they were resolved to our utmost satisfaction. All the peoples we dealt with from both the Padstow and Fairfied offices are very friendly, professional and helpful. I have no hesitation to recommend Fred Rose to my friends.

I love my new bathrooms!
I opened the Fred Rose web site in order to set up another renovation.
I was shocked at the negative comments there. Fred Rose replaced 2 bathrooms for me about 18ths ago. I could not fault one step of the process. David was a massive help design wise. Every tradesman used was totally professional and always open to questions if I had any. I often had to leave the house but did so in total confidence that they would finish and lock up for me. I would not choose any other company but Fred Rose to do another job for me.

12 years ago and the experience still haunts me
We used these people and I have long lived to regret it - they were more expensive than anyone else at the time. The first day one tradesman arrived on crutches, and when I expressed concern about how he could do the job he was rude beyond belief and continued to hobble around laughing. The tradesmen made errors over and over again. At one point, I expressed some dissatisfaction regarding one such mistake, and asked that the supervisor review it before another installment was made. Not satisfied at all! Totally regret choosing Fred Rose Bathrooms!
Problems from start to finish. Supposed to take 3 weeks but took nearly 6 weeks due to incompetency and stuff ups by some of the tradesmen. Some very poor quality of work and no duty of care! They should concentrate less on QUANTITY of work (doing multiple renovations at one time) and more on QUALITY of work taking place because this causes a lack of customer service and unsatisfactory delays in finishing the job! Also, received no apology for the mistakes made by their workers.
Totally regret choosing Fred Rose and would never recommend them to anyone! You're better off choosing a smaller renovation team and get more one-on-one service and more duty of care!

Not Happy!!
We had a quote approx. 5 weeks ago - have 3 bathrooms that need renovating, have phoned twice and they don't even bother calling back so obviously not in need of new work!! Very disappointing as appeared really professional when one of them came to our house. Would not even bother calling them as you will be wasting your time!!

Totally satisfied with our new bathroom
It is two years since we had our old bathroom renovated. We received very good reports from friends as to the quality of Fred Rose's company's work. They are a local family company which gave us confidence. We had heard bad reports of unfinished work by so many unknown firms so wanted to make the right choice. n brought out the cream wall tiles, and terra cotta colour floor tiles I had in mind, and matched them to the timber cabinet I wanted. The selections were all set up together so we could see how well they all matched our choice of border tile. They had obviously done this many times and were well versed in the procedure. The selections were exactly what we wanted. We matched them with a cream hand basin and toilet suite & cabinet top. As I have weak wrists we were able to select lever style taps for hand basin and shower along with a grip rail in the shower. The work was soon scheduled. They set up a programme of all the work, along with the times they would arrive every day. Our old bathroom had to be completely removed. Before the men started work they laid plastic over our hall carpet to protect it for the duration of work. Each day the scheduled workmen arrived exactly on time. Every day they cleaned up after themselves and removed all debris and rubbish. I had nothing to clean up myself. On 2 days in particular it was to be extremely hot and they arranged to come earlier in the morning to get the jobs for that day done before it got too hot. During the work a partner in the firm arrived regularly to make sure everything was done to his and our satisfaction. We are thrilled with the new bathroom and the high quality of the materials and the standard of the work. There are cheaper firms around but it was worth it to us to have such good care taken, to know the firm was reliable and we would not be left with substandard or uncompleted work. nificant surface cracks around the plug outlet. The basin had a 10 yr guarantee. The current price is $275. The basin was replaced by Vanitone, but the cost of having the original damaged basin removed and the replacement installed was not covered by the guarantee. The cost of this to us is significantly more than the original cost of the basin. The second problem was with the Caroma Trident Lever basin taps. In January 2015 the basin hot water tap developed a severe hammering which spread through our water pipes and taps. The hot water tap was also dripping. The diagnosis of the problem cost us $290 from a plumber. He advised that the whole tap set and goose neck should be replaced. I advised Caroma on 5th February and also advised Fred Rose Bathrooms. Caroma said the taps had a 10 year guarantee they would replace the parts. The plumber had also suggested we remove the tap aerator. This did significantly stop the hammering. Nothing more was heard for several weeks when I again contacted Fred Rose. Again nothing we heard nothing. In May I again contacted Fred Rose about the problems. They contacted Caroma and also sent out a service plumber to check our pipes. He flushed out the pipes. But the dripping persisted. I rang Caroma myself again. My original complaint did not appear to be in their system. I again went through my problem and they sent out a replacement set of taps and gooseneck to my home immediately. When we got our quote their bathroom renovations were priced FROM $16,000. It all depends on what you require and the quality of the tiles and fittings etc.
Just over $22,000 - so not cheap and I have quite a small bathroom as well. We went with Fred Rose because of their reputation and promises. Big mistake!!! Because they are doing multiple bathrooms at once they run like a production line - fine if everything goes according to plan - but I had so many problems with their workmanship, etc I was not given priority in fixing these problems ahead of the other renovations being done at the same time!! Hence, a three week renovation turned into six weeks. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!! Take my advice and don't choose Fred Rose.

electrician has already replaced TWICE in <18 months. The original LED light was bought and installed by Fred Rose electrician. He charged me $80 for the light and guaranteed me it would last for 10 years. Less than 12 months later the light was no longer working.
