Terrible

I really didn't like this quit smoking aid, they taste really bad and they didn't replace having a smoke for me. I eventually just quit cold turkey, I think that is the best way to go, I think these are just a way of stalling. I also an old boss of mine actually got addicted to the gum and was still chewing 2 years after she gave up smoking. I would recomend throw the smokes away and get some sugar free gum.
Cheaper than buying cigaretts, healthier than smoking cigaretts, can use these anywhere anytime unlike having a smoke.
Taste discusting like pepper.

I use the gum as an occasional side to patches and it sorts me out but the mild soreness in sensitive parts of my mouth are a bother.
I don't have to look at the oral cancer warning pictures on front of packets of cigarettes anymore.
Cheaper than cigarettes.
Helps me stop smoking.
An extra aid to patches.
Alleviates cravings as you wean off nicotine.
The mint taste is barely there.

Any nicotine replacement therapy is addictive so expect that, plan for it and DON'T get trapped. The ease of the use of the lozenge is much better than the gum. The trick is to break the lozenges into bits and then force yourself to only have that one bit at a time. You can get 6 pieces from one, maybe 7. Amazingly, it is EASY to do and you will be down to one packet a fortnight before you know it and then you can stretch out these little bits efficiently and get off them. No messy disgusting tasting gum and no constant chewing which is hardly professional or appealing.

Just ends up being left all over the place and a half chewed bit of gum doesn't come out of your pocket too well.

I have changed to gum after using lozenges for 18 months and not being able to cut down on them. After 2 weeks I am now down to 4 pieces of 2mg gum a day... a definate positive! I hope this is of help to other people who like me are unable to give up the lozenge 'addiction!'... I have really struggled with the fact that though I have been an 'ex-smoker' for over 18 months, I was unable to quit my actual nicotine addiction and felt always at risk of going back to cigarettes.
Helps with immediate craving. Relatively inexpensive compared to smoking & lozenges
Tastes awful, looks terrible if you are a 'cow chewer' like me! I finbd chewing make me hungry

My best friend quit and wanted me to visit but not smoke while I was there, so I agreed to try the gum that she offerred me. I managed to get through a few days but was a bit sick, mainly with headaches and nausea and pretty irritable. Had trouble getting to sleep and kept waking up wanting a smoke. As soon as I could I went and bought a pack. The left over gum got me through a long train trip where I couldn't smoke for 12 hours without any dramas, but I don't think this is the purpose it was made for.
Have lasted me well over short periods of time.
Did not satisfy my cravings over a longer period of time or make me feel that I could quit. Tastes terrible.

Why do you make it so hard to get at. Are you paid by the cigarette companies?

Are you going to bring the old formula back? The new one is sweet and am now looking to go to another brand. Thanks

Will you be bringing back the original mint flavor,

Andy

Closest alternative - Nicotinell Mint and wash the coating off by running under the tap. A bit fiddly but at least it's usable. Also you can order Nicorette Microtabs off ebay from the UK if you want zero flavour. Nicabate, please bring back old formula gum!
