Nice technology
Just brought this car from the local Nissan dealer. The version I got was the Ti version with sun roof, leather seats and 360 camera. This is the first time I brought an SUV and didn't realise that parking can be some times difficult as you can't see the white lines. It's lucky that the car have 360 camera, so after pressing the button, all I have to do is look at the camera to park the car, feels like I m playing video game. The parking assist feels like a hit or miss. Some times it does a perfect job some times it doesn't, once it didn't sens...Read more
e the parked car next to me and I had to manually intervene. The car is not as economical as the sales person say. I mostly drive the car to work and maybe 1 outing in the weekend. Driving about 30-40km a day, and I have to refuel about $60 petrol into it, not what the sales person told me which was 1 full tank a month.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent car !
Bought it in June last year . I have the Ti, fantastic car . Smooth ride and good with petrol consumption. Only down side is that the cameras ( got 6! ) aren't reliable at night . So trust you good old eyes . If I could make this car better I would add the cooling on the leathe seats ( as it only heats ) also a button to bring the butt door down would be really helpful for short people like me .

Ti model - Awesome car, great features a pleasure to own
Had this car for about a year now, so far it's been amazing, I decided on this model as it had all the comforts I wanted. Drives wonderfully and very comfortable to be, funny enough I'm still discovering features that I never knew it had like lumbar support for the lower back and the GPS settings. If you considering this car, it's worth every dollar, I scooped it up for $35,750 so don't be shy to negotiate a price. The servicing has been simple and easy and the GPS was updated for free. I purchased mine from Rockdale.

Can't fault it!
I have been trying to find a fault in this car since I purchased it and I can't. I love it. It is economical, easy to drive, comfortable, reliable, smooth and quiet, and looks great. Have never had any mechanical or auto issues and maintenance has not been an issue. Boot space is great, particularly the dividers to organise and secure items. The leather is also spot on. No issues at all

Love this car
It comes with all the extras you want, moon roof, alloy wheels, Bluetooth, leather, keyless entry, good mid size car. Has a kick of power when you want it and was a reasonable price. Driving is smooth and the rear parking camera has birds eye view so its super easy to reverse park.

So-So
Car is astatically pleasing, Brilliant reverse camera which also gives you a birdseye view ( A+++ on that)
Has moon roof but not sun roof so you cannot open it.
Plenty of room for passengers and adequate for luggage. Power wise is on par with other manufacturers.
Pricing - for what you get very good.

battery issues constant
WARNING absolutely love the car, except for the constant issues with battery of key and now main battery has failed and replacement for a battery is $450! poor response from Nissan, no support or replacement. BEWARE all maintenance is expensive for diesel. Stop start system issues, relating to battery, known and recognised fault but no warranty!

Can't live without my Qashqai!
I LOVE my Nissan Qashqai! I also love the dealer I purchased from. The service was exceptional and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area as well as the car! It's brilliant! So many great features, keyless entry and pushbutton start. Beautiful leather seats that can be heated in winter! My grandkids are in awe of the "roof window" as they call it! Handles beautifully! A bigger car has a bigger petrol tank, but it's totally worth it for all the extra room. I can't fault it. Armstrong Nissan in Toowoomba are the best for service! Thanks to everyone for my wonderful car!

Downgraded from an X-Trail for this
The car.. awesome.
The dealer I bought it from... not so great.
After driving an X-Trail for 4 years, it came time to either pay out the lease or get a new car. We decided to get a new car and settled on the Qashqai because it was more of a sedan than a 4WD but still had everything the X-Trail did.
First of all... things I dont like:
- The stop/start is electric. There is no mention of how to key start it. They give you a key, but nowhere to put it in. Maybe it is in the normal spot, but it has a cover over it and knowing my luck it...Read more

Love this Car!
Driving experience is great and road noise is minimal compared to my last car which was a Mitsubishi. Love the leather interior and dashboard, only negative is that I can't see what gear I am changing to when it is dark on the automatic transmission shift, unless I look at the dashboard. The letters/numbers don't illuminate enough when it is dark. Has been a very reliable and economical car.

Perfect family car
Love everything about it, we needed to update from a sedan and really wanted something with all the safety features, we purchased a 2016 TI model Qashqai and have been very impressed. It drives well, lovely interior and fits pram and groceries in boot. We were suprised by the good amount of leg room in the back seat. Navigation/Map system has been helpful also

Best wedding present ever!
I love my Nissan Qashquai. It's sporty but at the same time professional. I love all the safety features - lane warning detection and other features are amazing. Keyless entry is awesome as is the moon roof and leather seats. Only criticism is it doesn't have seat memory, and I find the seat a bit low for someone short like me.

Quite happy with the car
Handling is excellent, very easy to park. However, we bought the TI model which with its technology is a bit overwhelming. Also the petrol consumption is a bit more than we anticipated. Overall we are happy with our choice, as it is a mid-range size car, perfect for 2 persons.

OK car but questionable value for money.
The car is comfortable and quiet. Performance and fuel economy are OK (but it can be thirsty when towing or with a heavy foot) and, although we have done only about 15,000 km's so far, it has been very reliable. Dual climate control has been great and we love the all around camera imaging, which makes the Qashaqai very easy to park manually. The boot space is OK for us - but not large - and, while the adjustable boot floor sections and under floor storage area are useful, the bulky parcel shelf takes up a lot of space. Rear passengers don't ge...Read more
t dedicated ventilation or USB or 12 volt ports. The main gripe I have is with the SatNav. The maps are now well over three years old, which regularly catches us out, and, even when there are maps, at times the navigation can be a little dubious. We have taken to carrying a portable SatNav or using Google Maps when travelling because Nissan's outdated maps are so unreliable! The two services that we have had have been a little hit and miss also. Unlike other brands we have owned, the dealer default appears to be to (often incorrectly) assume that we are mistaken or ill informed when there are any issues (rather than phoning us straight away to discuss). Dealing with Nissan directly is difficult also as their default tends to be to refer everything back to the dealer. Other irritating concerns appear to be largely software related. There is virtually no engine braking in cruise control - I have driven other automatic cars and manual downshifting is nowhere near as necessary on downhill sections. Also, although an extremely minor issue, the user manual refers to the option of automatically folding in mirrors when the car is parked/turned off (where fitted), it seems that Australian Qashaqai mirrors can only be folded in by pressing the button on the door. Another issue is that there is no memory for the electric drivers seat, mirrors etc. We knew about this last issue when we bought the car but, having two opposing height drivers who regularly share the car and the slow speed with which the seat electrically adjusts, this has been much more irritating for us than we expected it to be - even compared to our previous cars with manually adjustable seats. I can't imagine that the hardware required for this feature would be significant or cost much.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A really great car
I also had a problem with occasional CVT shudder in my brand new Qashqai. But Nissan bent over backwards, loaned me a car and just replaced the entire CVT. Since then, the car has been a delight; super-quiet, comfortable, economical, handles beautifully, adequate performance, great cameras all round and electronic warnings for everything. This really is a surprisingly refined vehicle for the money. I'll buy another (former Subaru Forester owner (2) which were wonderful cars, but thirsty around town; didn't need 4wd this time.)

My dream car!
This car is a beauty! From the sleek yet chunky exterior to the very thought out interior, it has accommodated for everyone. I love the panoramic roof and the easy to use computer. The higher driving position is appreciated and the visibility out of every window is perfect.
My fiancé is over 6,5 and he fits in very comfirtably. I love it!

Nice car with some real world issues
So I have had this car now for approx 4 months and to date has been a nice drive. I like the car and enjoy driving it although that could be because it is new and you feel a bit short changed if you didn't and don't want to feel you wasted your money on this one.
This is where I see if falls down -
Kids car seats don't sit well for accessing the deep recessed seat belt clasp, the kids struggle with the angle the seat buckle needs to be and the mother choice car seats sit slightly over them so unfortunately adults will need to extend the amo...Read more

Exceeded all expectations for the class and price
Purchased a new Nissan Qashqai two months ago after looking long and hard in the compact SUV category. Other cars I looked at in this category were the Mazda CX-5 and the Hyundai ix35. Finally settled on the Qashqai because of the superb value for money offered, the exceptionally great look and the Nissan reputation, not to mention the incredible pleasant and well mannered salesman that didn't do the sleazy hard sell. After two months of driving the car I have to say I am thrilled, mainly because I can't believe how much car I got for the price range - around $40,000. This car comes fully spec'd, there was not a single thing I needed to ad as an extra, all the modern tech. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a compact SUV.

d! The stock wheels that came with the car did 60k which is a remarkable (Dunlop sport maxx) the interior has held up nicely, but keep in mind, I look after the things I buy! I have switched the 19 inch rims for the st 17 inch wheels, which have made the ride more comfortable, not to mention the cost of Tyre replacement down. I have serviced the vehicle every 10K. Unfortunately the Rockdale Nissan has been absorbed by Sutton’s, I would highly recommend Sutton’s on Arncliffe. Avoid Liverpool, they have no clue what’s going on. The service at Arncliffe is great. No major failures yet. I will provide another update in 1-2 years. If you have any questions please message me
