Fear and Loathing in Oasisvegas!
I have used oasis for 3 years now, deleting my account and opening a new one where applicable. I know there are other more popular options out there but I stuck with oasis as is it just seems to have far more genuine people and less trash to sort through to find them. I still find this to be true of oasis but I have recently stumbled upon a serious problem with this website. Somehow some no-life losers have managed to take over the moderation. Read morerevent people from contacting the users that they themselves like. They haven't stopped at just that either, these no-life mods have also used their powers to acquire peoples private emails and even illegally attained addresses and phone numbers. Avoid this website like a plague until it's owners fire all their current moderation staff and start recruiting new ones. I tried to contact oasis actives help center to report this activity and received no word back so the same people performing this disgusting behavior are also responsible for handling the help center emails.

Waste of money and time
What can I say about this site..... rubbish. There is that little provided without a cost (to be expected on a site like this) enticing you to pay. I paid only to find out that they still charged fees on top of the already costly amount just to talk to someone! You go through this site sometimes without even talking to someone as there are too many hoops to jump through.
another thing that annoys me is their pickiness with your display photo. Obviously if you post something inappropriate you'd expect it to get rejected but I have posted norm...
Read moreal photos of me and it either gets rejected coz its not cropped enough, a milimetre of the person was standing next to in the photo's head is still visible or coz my photos are apparently 'not genuine'. When they do approve, they crop it so much its just zoomed right in to the face n horrible! Its my profile, I'm a paying customer and I shouldbe able to feel comfortable with the photo I upload. Its rubbish! They do nothing about cyberbullying either! I recieved a death threat in one of their 'personalised requests' and do you think reporting the profile or even emailing the screenshot to oasis did anything? Yeh right! Don't waste your time! expensive, no value for money, adding extra charges to things that should be included in the cost, not secure in the places, its a cyber-bully haven

As bad as POF if not worse
Don't know where to start with this one. First there is the signup process, its easy enough to join, but then you have to wait for hours on end if not days for your profile to be accepted. Then once it is, you can't directly message someone, you have to send a request, and most of the time they won't even accept your request to be able to chat to the person of interest. the free features are highly lacking, even the paid features are no better. So there is a massive barrier for you to cross before you even get to talk with someone.
Long waiting for account to process, inability to be able to contact members with an opening message, features are highly lacking

Oasis Active: serviceable online dating company with a lack of results!
My experience with Oasis Active was a serviceable online dating company. The web site is, from my experience, user friendly, and cost effective in terms of the level of interests the ladies show in you.
