Oral B Pulsar (Vibration vs Rotation)
My dentist advised the Oral B Pulsar $10 vs high-powered rotating-head electric brushes. She showed me her (now unused) $300+ brush and said she reverted to the Oral B Pulsar due to its balance of effectiveness and simplicity. The advantage is basically the gentle vibrating bristles, vs the fast rotating head, which provide similar end results.
I used 2 Pulsars so far (1 every 3 months) and upon my last dental checkup my teeth were the best they have ever been. Naturally, you must follow the brushing with flossing and/or dental picks (eg Picksters) twice daily for optimum results.
Gentle vibrations, very effective in plaque removal, used as a normal toothbrush, cost.
