Excellent TV
Fantastic picture - perfect up scaling of free to air channels HD and SD. The Soap Box effect can be eliminated completely which was a big factor for me. It has twin HD tuners and records so no need for our old PVR. We held off on a sound bar for now as the sound is good quality. This TV has a pedestal stand so it fits on any cabinet . Netflix, Iveiw, SBS on Demand, picture in picture channel selection. It is just a bargain and the best UHD TV out of the many i tested.
Purchased in April 2021 at The Good Guys for A$1,500.00.

Love this TV
Once setup, this TV is a pleasure to watch. The picture is of such high quality and is so clear in any setting. I just love it. If you are looking to buy a new TV, you cannot go past this UHD FX800 Series unit. Once you have viewed it, you will fall in love with it.

Great features, good picture and good value
Replacing an old 50" plasma with a larger TV and ended up with the 65" version of the FX800a. I went for this over the sony X9000f as whilst the picture on the sony was better, android TV runs very poorly on it. The panasonic has a good picture but being edge lit, the blacks do suffer a little bit. However this is the best of the edge lit TV's as the panasonic software is very good at colour management. The picture is not as garish/bright as the cheaper Led tvs on the market which means better colour and perhaps slightly worse performance in a ...Read more
bright room. The software is fast and pretty easy to use . The menu does have a lot of options but apart from some network stuff I've hardly touched it. This thing is heavy- 43KG with the stand. I'm getting it wall mounted and paying a professional to do it. If you don't need the smarts in smart TV buy the sony. But this unit IMHO is the best all rounder in this price bracket right now. Hi Swamprat, thank you for taking the time to review your new TV
Just to add to this- the tv passes both Dolby and DTS through the optical outlet. Outstanding

I also bought the 55" FX800 Panasonic and I love it. The picture is sensational and I love everything about it. It has replaced my 40" Panasonic which I had for 13 years and I don't expect this tv to last that long. I just love it so far. Although it is only a couple of months old, will just have to wait and see.

Hi, I bought a 65" Panasonic FX800, sound is good, picture is good depending on the quality of the free to air, also a beautiful designed T.V, but my most disappointing thing about this T.V are, no picture in picture (which the staff at JB said it had) and also the constant blurring in action movie or programs, maybe there's some setting that may stop the blurring which you could let me know about, cheers, Rob.
