Very happy with this washer
NA-F85A1WAU (8.5kg)From washing dirty work clothes, to delicate fabrics this machine is great. 1 year in we had to replace the inlet valve, it was a simple fix and the part was readily available. Water consumption and electricity usage are also fairly low. Easy maintenance and cleaning.

NA-F85A1WAU (8.5kg)We bought this 8.5 kg Panasonic top loader washing machine two days ago installed it today and tried to wash 6 towels with a total weight of 5.5 kg. I set the machine to the cotton program set the water level to 93 liters the maximum it will set to, but the machine decided for itself to only use a small amount of water, I could not set the machine to add more water, so the towels would not rotate or turn over, they just sat in the same position moving slowly 150mm to the left then slowly 150mm to the right for the maximum allowable 12 minutes w

Total program time one hour, actual wash time 12 minutes and rinse time 4 minutes, the rest of the time was spent weighing and measuring adding water and thinking maybe it was time to spin, then waiting for the drum to stop spinning. I was forced to manually set the machine going again on a 12 minute wash without soap and spin so that the towels would be rinsed properly. I have now set it on the air dry program and I am draining all the hoses, tomorrow morning it will be packed back in its box and it is going back to the retailer we purchased it from. I do not recommend anyone buy this machine. Oh I do miss the washing machines of thirty years ago, they were simple to use and did a good job, the paddle did not split and they used to spin after the wash before the first rinse, which is no longer possible with modern top loader machines, now they are overly complicated and do too much measuring and weighing and not enough actual washing.
