Parlux 3500 TOTALLY worth the price
I did a heap of research and finally decided to buy the Parlux 3500 SuperCompact Hair Dryer. I wanted something that was as small as my travel hair dryer, I didn't want to have to deal with a huge machine. I bought it online (it was too expensive in the shops) and I can without a doubt say that it is the best hair dryer I have ever used. I literally just dried my super thick hair in less than 10 minutes! That is completely unheard of! When I use a round brush it takes me a bit longer, but then my hairdo lasts for like three days. My hair looks ...Read more
shinier and fuller but not fluffy! Quick, Strong, Powerful, Small The only thing would be that it is a little heavy compared to my travel hair dryer (which cost like $30) but that's expected because the motor is sooo much better!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
Stops the frizz and makes my hair look shiny. Not sure it actually cuts down on drying times. The dryer is a bit on the heavy side but compact. Chose black and am very happy with it. Sop around for prices since they vary by nearly $50. Well worth the money.
Stops the frizz!
Vague instruction leaflet.

Terrible for fine hair
I only purchased this hairdryer (made in Italy also) because Vogue forum members praised it. It's terrible trying to style/straighten my fine wavy shoulder length hair. It just blows out air way too fast and even though I wrap my hair around a brush I still can't manage to tame it. There's no low speed, just fast and faster. I hate it and will pass it onto my daughter who has long thick hair.
My other daughter purchased some cheap brand one from Cunningham's warehouse and it was perfect! alas it only lasted 2yrs. I will be shopping for another better brand which actually has a low speed hopefully
Wxpensive, air too fast

Anyone had trouble with the nozzles expanding with the heat and falling off?
I love this hair dryer, but since the beginning I've had problems with the concentrator nozzle expanding with the heat and falling off. I usually go to Hairhouse Warehouse and they give me a spare one on the spot which is great, but would like to not have to keep doing this - as it happens even with the replacement. Has anyone else had this problem? If not am thinking its maybe a fault with the dryer getting too hot?
Lightweight, styles hair easily

Compact, Light and perfect
I got the super compact, ceramic and Ionic edition, Made in Italy, "not china", I love that it is a compact version, as it is lighter, therefore easier to use, fast drying. I love it it suits my needs.
I loved the size, weight of this dryer as it makes it easier to use.

Hi
Sorry not got a sound meter to check the db level but it is loud.
It is ok, not as loud as my old dryer. But sorry I can't give exact ready as don't have way to read the db.
