Has Pepsi max no sugar changed recipe has doesn’t taste the same. Taste like it is off.
Yep, spot on it has!! I suggest complaining to Asahi (who make it here in AU) about it and hopefully get them to 1) admit it and 2) change it back as it tastes like garbage now. Email them at [email protected]
I think it's either off or someone did something, like added chemicals to it. It's disgusting. Surely they wouldn't have changed the recipe of a successful brand.....
Message I got from their facebook page was "We can confirm that we haven't changed the recipe and have identified issue which has now been resolved"
I bought some a couple of weeks ago and they definitely haven't resolved the problem.
To me, it tastes of lavender, and that's the flavour which lingers after the final swallow. I believe lavender oil is a component of many cola drinks, so the possibility that is excessive lavender isn't too remote.
It tastes as though they were trying to mimic Coke Zero, though not going so far.

Pepsi max has changed over the last few weeks. Tasteless and flat. Disappointing for a 3 - 4
cans per day over 10 years. Checked the use by dates which are June and August this year. Any reason for this as I just can't drink it now?
