For ED, do we have to continue the medication all the time or it might be just a course and that will fix the problem

Hi Chitto,

It varies on patient to patient. You generally start with a course of treatment, and have a follow-up with your doctor after a little and determine what needs to happen next. Often there are other health issues that contribute to ED, so fixing those also helps. In any case - best to talk to a doctor on the Pilot platform as they know best.

All the best,

Charlie

Hi Amir, thanks for the question.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to mention medications as I'm not a doctor - only they can explain the options. But we do have a wide range of medications available through our pharmacy partners with many possible alternatives.
Please complete a doctor's consult to chat to them about the options:

Let me know if I can help more :)

Hey Pilot,

I use your app if we could have the following
- full profiles of the doctors (where they're from, ID pictures)
- what their doctoring background is
- a star/% rating
- holistic?

Thanks

Hey Glen,

We do give you a full bio (via email) when you get assigned your doctor. This includes their interests and background. We don't do it beforehand as we don't want people requesting specific doctors and skewing demands. As for a star rating, it's illegal in Australia to have testimonials for specific doctors (crazy, I know). And as for the last point, not 100% sure what you mean by holistic? Let me know and I'll get straight back to you.

Hi Cam
We suggest you talk to your doctor on Pilot and they will help to advise the best treatment (if any) is most suitable for your condition. Please email [email protected] if you have any problems speaking to a doctor on PIlot.

I have received medications some months ago today I received more but I never put an order in or had a follow up with doctor just wondering how this is possible

Hi Darren,
It's normal to receive repeat medications as part of the treatment plan your doctor created for you (many plans come with 2 repeats that ship at regular intervals). That said, you should have received emails before it shipped. Would it be possible to email [email protected] to make sure your email is set up properly? Apologies for any confusion. Regards,

Charlie

Hi Maxwell,

We don't do treatments and consultations for male hormone stuff - but it could be a good idea. We'll definitely look into it this year and see if its safe and appropriate for telehealth.

Appreciate the suggestion. Cheers,

Charlie

I am wondering how well the hair loss products work ... I fall outside the age groups mentioned ... I am young 55 and only started to thin my hair very slowly about 5 years ago ... thanks Ross

Hi Ross, cheers for the question.

The common prescription treatments for hair loss that you can get from any GP in Australia have been shown to work, and these are the kind of treatments available on Pilot. There is plenty of clinical evidence to suggest they are effective.

That said, we suggest you proceed and speak to one of the doctors on Pilot about it. Age might not be a factor, but it's best to talk to the doctor as they are the experts. Simply raise your concerns and questions in your online assessment and a doctor will see that as soon as they review your information, and get back to you accordingly.

Hope that helps,

Charlie
